Lemon Tart Big Lots Candle Review
By Christina Rylan
Brand: Big Lots
Type: 14oz Retro Kitchen 3 wick candle
Fragrance: Lemon Tart
Scent Strength: Light
First impression of Lemon Tart from Big Lots:
Candle lovers… did you know Big Lots carries quite the selection of scented candles? Super cheap too. Some reflected their price (quality wise) and some were actually quite decent so it’s kind of a crap shoot.
Lemon Tart was a scent right up my alley and for $5 bucks… why not? I didn’t have a scent description to go with this review but just imagine a sweet and tangy lemon that smelled a cross between lemonade and a lemon drop candy. I liked it just based off cold sniff. Hoping it gives a decent scent throw.
Let’s find out!!
I decided to go conservative and light this candle in a small room to start out and that’s where it stayed till the last drop of wax. Once the wicks were lit, it took not even 15 minutes to reach a full melt pool and the aroma… a sweet and sugary lemon that I very much enjoyed. The only downside, it was lightly scented, so a teeny room is your best bet for the strongest scent throw. That’s what I did and enjoyed every second of it.
Strength – light. Stick to a super small room.
How did my candle burn?
Perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing to my review:
Lemon Tart was a very enjoyable lemon scent I could totally see myself purchasing again. As stated above, it was lightly scented but for the price and size, I thought it was totally worth it.
Happy candle hunting!
