First impression of Lemon Drops:
The moment I saw this candle on Bath & Body Works website, my mouth literally began to water in pure anticipation. LEMON!!!! Yes, that does happen when it comes to lemon fragrances. They are my absolute favorite!!
Here is the scent description I pulled from the bottom of the candle:
That magnificent mouth puckering mixture of sweet and tart is captured in this blend of fresh lemon zest, sugar crystals and a hint of vanilla.
Lemon – check!
Tart – check!
Sugar – check!
This fragrance smelled exactly like lemon candy with lots of sugar. Sweet, tart and 100% perfect! Now hoping this scent stays true once I light the wicks.

I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out and waited for the magic to begin. It didn’t take long… maybe ten minutes in. The aroma… a sweet and tart lemon candy all the way and it smelled exactly as the description boasts. Zesty lemon loaded with sugar with hints of vanilla. It truly did smell like lemon drop candies. I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!
Strength – I would rate this candle an 8 out of 10 in a really large room. 10 in medium to smaller rooms. Great scent throw!
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. YEAH!! Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
Loved Lemon Drops from Bath & Body Works and will for sure be purchasing this candle again next time I see it. And not one but maybe 2 or 3. I liked it that much.
Love sweet lemon scents, definitely give this one a try. You won’t be sorry.
