First Impression:
I purchased these melts from ScentSational’s website. I have not found this scent at Walmart.
First sniff…. very nice! Lemon fragrances are my absolute favorite, in any and in all forms. The moment I popped open the lid to smell the wax, a burst of lemon hit my nose. Nothing synthetic or fake about it… just a sweet herbally kind of lemon.
Melting:
This is the only scent description I could find for this fragrance:
“Old fashion lemon candy at its finest!”
Mmmmm!! This was a really interesting lemon once melting. I’m not sure I can say it was the most authentic “lemon drop” scent I’ve tried but it was still nice. My favorite lemon drop scents are a tart and sugary sweet lemon. To me, this scent had more of an herbal and fresh smell than the classic candy. I almost want to say it even had perfume’y kind of notes to it. It was different and interesting. And boy was it strong. On a scale of 1 to 10, this was a 10. Once melting… it overpowered every scent I had going in other rooms.
I liked this scent but not sure enough to buy it again. It was different but not what I was hoping for… a classic lemon drop scent.
