First impression of Jolly Rancher Green Apple:
I about died when I saw all the Jolly Rancher candles and melts on Hanna’s website, Candlemart.com. You don’t have to be a kid to love or appreciate Jolly Rancher candies and I can honestly say I’ve loved this candy from a teeny little kid to present day. Aside from Watermelon and cherry which happen to be my all time favorite flavors, Green Apple comes in a close third so I HAD to review this scent, had to!!
Here is the scent description I pulled from Hannah’s website:
Fruity notes highlight this crisp apple scent, creating a mouth watering candy delight.
I can almost taste this candy so I have pretty high expectation of what this scent should smell like. A super sour and sugary green apple. Super, super sugary and sour. Mmmm!!! I need some of these pronto!!
Smelling the wax, it smelled like a classic green apple scent and not really sour but I’m going to hold judgement till I melt these babies. That’s always the true test. And with that said… here we go!
I used the entire clamshell pack split equally between two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took about ten minutes before the scent was moving through my great room and it smelled like a fresh and strong green apple. Did it smell like a Jolly Rancher candy? Not really. It was more of a classic and crisp green apple and although I was a little disappointed, I still really enjoyed it. The fragrance was strong and very fresh… just not sour/candy like.
Strength – I would rate these melts a 10 out of 10 in any size room. It’s a room filler. 🙂
If you love the fresh scent of green apple… definitely check out these melts and candles on Hanna’s website. It’s a great site to shop on – they’re prices are SOOOOO inexpensive and they have a really nice selection. Definitely check them out, especially if you’re on a budget.
