First Impressions of My Hazelnut Latte Candle
I’m always game for a yummy coffee scent, especially ones that are creamy with different flavors mixed in. With that said, Hazelnut Latte from Colonial sounded right up my alley. Strangely, I don’t have a scent description for this candle, but the label says it all… a frothy latte with fresh hazelnut powder sprinkled on top. Yum!!
Time to light my candle!
I started this candle in a large bedroom to see how it performed and soon after ended up moving it to a medium size room. Once I found the right size room, aaaaaah!! A creamy coffee scent filled my guest bedroom with fragrance and it was really nice. It smelled like a coffee and vanilla cream latte, not so much hazelnut and I was perfectly fine with that. The fragrance was yummy just as it was.
Strength
I would rate this candle a 6 out of 10 in a really large room. 8 in a medium and 10 in a small. It wasn’t super strong but gave a nice and steady medium scent throw.
How Did My Candle Burn?
This candle burned perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end. I want to mention something about Colonial Candles wicks in case you’re thinking about giving them a try or you didn’t know. Don’t trim the wicks prior to lighting them the first time. Trust me. They look long but they taper down on their once you light them. I learned that the hard way.
