Intro To My Wax Melt Review
Boo! I can’t believe it’s that time again already…Halloween! Where did the time go??? If you’re looking for Halloween wax melts, you’ve come to the right place. I decided to scare up Spooky Hollow from Mary Melts to try for this occasion. Mary Melts is a relatively new-to-me company, but I have been impressed with what I’ve tried so far. I figured I couldn’t go wrong grabbing this spooky good sounding scent.
First Impressions of My Wax Melt
This was a round clamshell type of wax melt and it was in two tones of purple. Mesmerizing! I opened the lid and took a quick whiff and was spellbound even more…this was a rich vanilla type of scent with just a little more that I couldn’t quite figure out. It was heavy with just a little bit of sweetness to it. I thought it was divine!

Yum! That was why the scent smelled so complex on cold sniff. I could not wait to start using this Halloween wax melt, so I took two cubes and put them in my 20W hotplate warmer. I used these in a large, open living space. It didn’t take long until…wow! I started smelling that rich, thick vanilla scent. I could then start making out the other notes. There was a bit of sweetness to it and almost an earthiness, too. It is hard to describe, but it really was spooky good.
How Did My Wax Melt Perform?
This scent was fairly strong and could be smelled all throughout the space it was in. I could smell this one down the hallway, too. Not overbearing, but definitely filling the air. The two cubes lasted a long time, too. I kept them in my warmer all day and into the evening. I decided to change them out the next day, but I think they could have kept going strong. I ended up getting a lot of mileage out of this one clamshell.
Closing To My Wax Melt Review
Spooky Hollow was a spooky good wax melt for Halloween…or for any occasion! It was rich and full-bodied, but not too heavy on the nose. It was complex and just simply delicious. I didn’t have any ghosts or goblins hanging out to enjoy this scent, but I’m sure they would have felt right at home. If you like complex vanilla scents, this one is good to try – and not just for Halloween!
