First Impression of Girlfriend Night:
When I first saw Girlfriend Night on a Walmart shelf, the retro city and pink label sucked me in, and then I smelled the wax. Honestly, I had no idea what I was smelling. Body splash? Perfume? The little blurb on the label says, “Bubbly Berry Bliss, whatever that means? Maybe pink berry champagne meets light and sexy perfume? Sounds about right to me because that’s kind of what the wax smelled like. I will say this… this scent was fun and smelled very strong on cold sniff.
Once I got home, I hunted for the scent description. Here is what I found.
Girlfriend Night features sweet orange zest, juicy apples, and tonka bean. This alluring blend is topped off with jasmine petals, pink berry, and coconut milk.
Hmmm. I would have never guessed all those fruity notes, nor coconut milk or tonka bean. To me, this scent was all jasmine petals and pink berry. It smelled super girly and fun.
Let’s get to melting!
Melting Girlfriend Night:
I had a hunch this scent was going to be super strong but I still used the entire clamshell pack anyway in two electric melters in my great room. Go broke or go home right? I just finished cooking anyway and craved something strong to counter my chicken enchiladas. Boy did I get that and more!! Once I threw the cubes into the dishes of my electric melters, the aroma was already all around the melter. 10 minutes in and the entire upper level of my home smelled like a fun and sassy perfume. I’m still holding firm this scent was all pink berry and jasmine petals. I didn’t really smell apples, oranges or vanilla. Coconut milk? I wish!! If it was there, the floral notes drowned it out too much. Regardless, I still enjoyed this one. Girlfriend Night was bright, sassy and fun.
I also want to point out. even though this scent was perfume’y, it wasn’t overwhelming enough that my hubby said anything to me. If it was bad, he would have definitely said something. So, I took that as a plus. My 15 year old however didn’t care for it. He made it clear it smelled like Lysol disinfectant spray to him. LOL! I totally disagreed but still wanted to put that in this review. Every nose matters. 🙂
Strength – I would rate Girlfriend Night a 10 out of 10 in any size room. This is a total room filler and I loved every second of it.
Definitely give Girlfriend Night from ScentSational’s a try if you love fresh perfume scents. Even though my 15 year old didn’t care for it, I’m still picking up a few more next time I’m at Walmart. He is overruled.
