First impression:
I purchased this clamshell melt through Scentsational’s website. I have not found this scent at Walmart stores. First sniff… this was a very spicy fall scent. It smelled just like pumpkin spice. YUM!!!!
One thing I’m noticing when ordering through Scentsational’s website… some clamshell melts are smaller than their normal size of 2.5oz… and they don’t state this on their website. That kind of annoys me since I obviously prefer the larger size. This melt was the smaller 2oz size.
Melting:
Let’s start with the Scent description from Scentsational’s website:
“Imagine a warm autumn evening in the kitchen as irresistible notes of sweet pumpkin baked with spicy ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon fill the air.”
And a little description on the label: “A warm harvest kitchen”
I melted the entire clamshell in 2 electric melters in my great room (3 cubes per melter) – – It took about 15 minutes to really start noticing the scent and boy once I did… yummy!!!! Pumpkin Ginger reminded me a lot of Pumpkin Potion… a Halloween scent they came out with in 2013. I’d even venture to say it’s identical. LOVED!!!!!
This scent is 100% baked pumpkin with sweet cake blended in with swirls of ginger and nutmeg. It’s delicious – mouthwatering and a pumpkin lovers dream!!!!
I definitely recommend this one if you love bakery pumpkin scents.

This scent brought me to scentsationals. I was an ambiscent fanatic after smelling this exact sent. i’ve tried candlecopia and scentsy looking for the ambiescent melt. I read somewhere that they were one and the same. I’m THRILLED. Just recieved the melt today. It is true that the oz are off from the ambiscent, but the smell and throw are so larger than life you won’t miss it. I’m burning an entire clam shell as I write this. Its my favorite smell of all brands…and there is no close second.
Thanks for this amazing site, I’ll be ordering some of the scents you’ve suggested.
