First impression of Fresh Peppermint:

I can’t go through the month of December without burning at least one peppermint scent for the holidays. This year, I chose Fresh Peppermint from Shortie’s. They had a great sale which I always have a hard time resisting. It also smelled amazing.

Here is the scent description from Shortie’s website:

As thick and rich as a sprig of freshly cut peppermint that has just been pureed, with an added touch of vanilla. A perfect creamy peppermint candy just for your nose.

Mmmm!! Sweet, fresh and perfect. My nose smelled peppermint candy the most with hints of vanilla and I loved it. Time to light this baby up!

I decided to go conservative and light this candle in a medium size room. Once the wick was lit, it took a good hour to reach a full melt pool and from then on out… a very subtle peppermint candy filled my guest bedroom. It was lighter than I liked so I moved it to my small powder room where it performed much better. Once moved, a fresh peppermint candy filled my bathroom and even spilled out of the room into my great room. It was crisp, fresh and put the perfect amount of sweet chill in the air! Vanilla and peppermint all the way.

Strength – I would rate this candle a 6/7 in a medium sized room. 8/9 in a small compact room. It wasn’t strong but I still enjoyed it once I moved it to the right size room.

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean and slow burning from beginning to end.

Closing to my review:

Fresh Peppermint from Shortie’s was a nice and fresh peppermint candy and one I do recommend if you love fresh and cool peppermint scents. Just keep in mind it was on the lighter side for me. Still loved it though and will for sure purchase it again.
