Clarification of posting requirements

The Candlefind forum is considered a community, with naturally inherent give and take. This forum is a wonderful resource and has grown to what it is by member contribution. We have the best members and it shows! Membership has its privileges - full access to the board.

 

I wanted to take a moment to clarify our posting rule. Here is the rule as it is written:

Active participants have full access to the board. Active participation is considered a minimum of more than five (5) posts per month. 

There is the rule and then there is the spirit of the rule. In regards to the specific rule, we tried to keep the posting requirements to a minimum because we know...life happens, things happen. Some people are naturally more chatty than others (wink wink). We understand that wholeheartedly!

 

As for the spirit of the rule, if some are only doing a drive-by to simply gain full access...well, we do reserve the right to limit access by those members. For example - posting the bare minimum every month at the beginning of the month (and simple one-liners like "Hi") without true attempts to contribute to the community.

 

We are all wax lovers here. Let's all join in and help this community grow even bigger and better!
