Cold and rainy again today, but it is keeping my scents performing well. Mylingy Cleopatra and CHC Wisteria are both melting and both with a darn good throw!

LOL...yes I do have some heirloom scents...and I'm not sharing! LOL. Let me see...Blueberry Patch, Pistachio Ice Cream, she had a bunch of different glazed danish fruit scents, her original green apple (OMG, so good), rootbeer, icebox sugar cookies, and from going through everything I see that I have an addiction to peppermint and blueberry scents. Wow...no clue I bought so many bags of those. Well, I do have everything inventoried but I'm way to scared to actually add up the numbers.

 

DH is quite aware of what was in the closet. He's been complaining for a year that he can't put his ski equipment in there because of the "boxes". I think he's just saying that so he can invite his parents to stay in there and not have them ask so many questions when they try to get into the closet. They are from Europe and tend to stay for a while and bring lots of luggage.

 

I could post porn but it wouldn't be very exciting as the bins aren't clear. Maybe I'll try to take a picture without a cover on tomorrow. The lighting isn't good in there so my Iphone wont take a very good picture at night.

Hi all! Current scents are:

 

K - Peach White Cake - CFTKR - This was a sample from Carol and it's actually really good - I don't smell cake, just a very good authentic peach scent - she said she blended her perfect peach with a white cake scent - Now I have to order some of that perfect peach scent lol

 

LR - Sutra's Passion - CFTKR - Another sample scent and I really like it but she doesn't seem to have it listed right now.

 

BR - Pink Sugared Watermelon - CFTKR - A favorite - So good!

 

Bathroom - Water Lily & Ivy - Rosa's - A very nice scent but too light for me which is why I put it in the bathroom and it did scent it nicely.

 

 

LLVV I do the same thing with Carol's scents - I order bags of it if I really like it - I think I still have like 4 bags left of her Apple Spice & Holly (I had 8 or so lol).

SSS - Ocean Breeze (nice, good throw), Granny's Lemon Cake (favorite), Fresh Peaches (good peach scent), Cotton Candy (good throw, nice & sweet), Iced Cinna Buns (favorite), Blueberry Fried Pie (oooh nice - a new favorite for me. The blueberry wasn't overpowering.), Vanilla Pound Cake (yummmmm)

AZW - Buttercream Marshmallow Cupcake (nice), Coconut Chocolate Marjolaine (smelled like something was burning)

Countrytrail - Candied Chestnuts (terrible cold sniff but delicious when melting, sweet & nutty), Cucumber Melon (loved this! Smelled just like a Jolly Rancher to me), Granny's Pie Crust (not much), Tropical Beaches (great throw), Enchanted Nights (too 'masculine' for me), Mango Madness (don't care for mango scents)

McCall's - Cocoanut Caffe candle (finished this)

The Sugar Pink Bakery - S'mores votive (finished this)

Autumn Candles - Lemon Pound Cake candle (wonderful candle - too bad this place has closed up shop)

Can Do - Sugar Butt (another favorite...milder scent, but I love it!)

I?ve been a part of this forum for a year now and I have enjoyed it immensely. Thank you candle buddies for introducing me to vendors I would have never bought from without your input. Gold Canyon, Nene?s, and Kim?s Tart Candles are currently my top three vendors, and a year ago I knew nothing about them. My home has never smelled so good.

 

Unfortunately, due to my responsibilities at home and the many commitments I have outside the home, it has been increasingly difficult for me to find time for reading and posting on this forum. So I'm writing this to say goodbye, for awhile. I wish everyone well and may you all have a fabulous time burning and melting.

 

My all-time favorite scent of the day is Gold Canyon's Strudel & Spice.

Sounds like you all are melting some goodies today! I'm melting Sun & Sand and burning the tiny last bit of a Drift Away jar. Wow, these two smell great together! I was burning a Patriot candle I got at Walgreen's, but it's tunneling so bad it was just making me mad, so I blew it out. That's 10 bucks I'll never get back! Oh well.

Last nights melt was SSS Black Cherry Bomb, yummy and strong!!!

 

Placed another order with AMS yesterday. I know I read someone saying that her tat was just way too long..I placed my first order last week and got it in 3 days, and I placed another order yesterday and I got the shipping notice that I'll be getting them tomorrow. Didn't melt anything yet, but just based on the cold sniff, they should be amazing melted. I believe they are soy so I'm letting them cure for a week.

Hi all! Wow, it's really hot here today - went up to 93 degrees! It's still only May!!! I much prefer the colder weather. Thank goodness for A/C!

 

Yes Katz my house smelled great that day - DP doesn't really care for the earthy scents (I always get the "it smells like roasted a** in here" comment whenever I melt them, but I love them :P) however he has been warming up to the fruit/fresh/floral scents more than he used to - he's even starting to ask me "what's that scent you got on?" or "wow the house smells really good!" - heck he's even been involved in the scent picking a few times when I couldn't decide what to put on! Progress!

 

I'm beginning to suspect he has actually enjoyed it from the beginning when I went crazy for tarts but was just feigning indifference.

 

 

Currently melting:

 

K -Sparkling Lemon - YC - A really nice scent but I would like it more if it was stronger.

 

LR - Rainforest - Colonial - A favorite - I wish they would bring this one back as well as Clear Skies!

 

BR - Clean Waterlily & Jasmine - CFTKR - A nice version of the scent but LOL's was far superior & stronger and it was the best version I had ever found - too bad she discontinued it... :cry:

 

Bathroom - Spa - Nene's - A nice scent but very light.

 

 

Denny, do try to at least drop in every now and then just to say hi! I don't always have time to read all the posts so I just don't always do that, but I've been trying to at least post what I'm melting and to say hi to everyone. We'd miss you!
