November's Feast of Scents

Recommended Posts

I'm late to the party today, but I finally made it.

Maggie, it IS Toonces!  The cat who could drive a car....over a cliff every time! Toonces, look out!

Jason, that's funny about the new work environment. At least there was a melter in the building so there is hope. Crickets chirping. No worries. Before long, you'll have them bringing in melts for your approval.

I had HoT - Blueberry Creme Coffee melting all day.

We'll see, Jules. One lady even said "what does this say about him to you all?" in response to my admitting I liked the scent. Not sure what she was implying, and apparently neither did anyone else. She has been otherwise pretty pleasant, so I won't let it bother me...especially since I wasn't sure what the heck she meant by that. Anyway.....

Tonight is VERY cold, the coldest night of the fall this year for us, so I have several candles going and my faux fireplace fired up (well, I pushed the button to 'ON'). Burning YC Autumn Wreath and Spiced Pumpkin, finishing up Spring Street's Apple Fritters, Hobby Lobby's Autumn Spice, and just blew out SH's Mixed Berry Crumble because it was getting very sooty. Also melting YC's Sparkling Cinnamon which I have avoided for some reason, but I actually like it alot. It has a clove note that I am partial to. Sorry, I am long-winded tonight. Just feeling chatty, I suppose. Have a great night all!

Jason, I would have wanted to shove her foot deep into her mouth. uggh.

decided to melt Nene's sugared spruce. So nice, clean; I am not a pine/balsam person but this is just the right amt. of each. thows nice but not overpowering or nauseating.

Jason, I sure feel your pain. (And I have smelled that scent before and I like it!)

Very windy here tonight! I am melting Butternut Pumpkin from Candle Dippers.

good morning, all.

when I woke up, Nene's sugared spruce was still scenting so nicely. I do love that scent.

switched over to a half of Carol's mac apple mixed with Christmas candied fruit. thinking of putting a piece of GG's don't look Ethel in it for some spice.

have a good day, all

Hope everyone had a restful sleep.

Starting the morning with CCCC Carolina Rain...so far...so good.

Heading out in a little while to the eye doctor...time for new contacts. smileyglasses.gif

tunisianswife...I really like the Pink Sugared Spruce from CCCC. Wonder how it compares to Nene's Sugared Spruce? Looks like you're getting a long throw from it.

OMG Sharonana...those smilies sure are adorable...especially the one with the "spectacles"...LOL

Melting Cinnamon Glazed Baklava from Almost Country this morn. Not my favorite ..this one is particularly spicy. I like this scent more buttery. If I can't eat it...I like to smell it. YK?

Morning all! Haven't been on in a while & I've missed hearing about everyone's great burnings & meltings.

Today I'm melting HoT Peppermint Mocha Cafe & burning Home Interiors House of Hugs. The HoT tart smells great, but sadly the HI doesn't really smell like much. I actually forgot I had it, and came across it the other day while cleaning out the closet. [smilie=th_e16] Does anyone else ever do that?

Good morning!

I'm dying for a cup of coffee. I just bought some new creamers so I can't wait to head downstairs and have a bagel and a cup of coffee. mmmm...

I'm melting Carol's Pumpkin Spice Latte and burning YC's Cranberry Chutney.

Sadly I have no tips...I have tarts in baskets and I have so many baskets, it looks like I'm selling them! [smilie=th_e16] I am on the dreaded lockdown for a while so I can whittle down the basket selection....Of course, being the scent addict that I am...soon as lockdown is over I end up with MORE baskets than I started with....a lost cause for sure!

Good morning! For the day's melts, it's orchard pear from yc in the computer room, perfect storm from huckleberry layne in the living room, strawberry jam & lemon pound cake from bizzy b's in the kitchen, and raspberry vanilla cream from crosscreak in my bedroom.

I hope you all have a lovely day! It's supposed to be in the mid 60s here, so maybe we'll be able to get outside and get the leaves and pine needles raked. Fun, fun! lol

Good morning, everybody!

I'm drooling over all your scent choices. Some of my very faves are happenin' now and they must be smellin' gooooood! [smilie=th_e16]

My warmer is taking a much needed rest. I'm off for a day of hiking with friends. It's supposed to be a high of 77 where we're going. Wow, I'm not sure I can even find a short-sleeved shirt this time of year.

Jason, I think your coworker was unbelievably rude. Some people are sure goofballs. Hopefully she'll turn out to be really nice.

Have a happy smelling day, peeps!

Gail
