What are your Favorite CROSSCREEK Scents???

Recommended Posts

Ok, Forum Friends, I need some help. Crosscreek has listed a lot of new scents for Fall and she told me via e-mail she "might" have a sale the end of this month. So, please share your favorite strong and fragrant scents from Deana.

I am listing mine in order of strong, medium and light scent/throw. Please keep in mind I have NOT tried any Fall Scents and would appreciate input on those as well.

Here are my choices as we smell them in our home:

Strong:

Pink Nilla Sugar

Pink Sugar Cake

Buttercream Vanilla (strong/moderate)

Ultimate Vanilla (wonderful)

Cuppa Chai (ok, really strong but a true fav of mine)

Flip Flops

Tahitian Vanilla (another great vanilla)

Pink Crush (super strong)

Chocolate Fudge Cake

Spiced Cranberries

Orange Cranberry Muffin

Cabernet

Maple Pecan Streusel

Fresh Lemon Slices (wow oh wow, great true lemon smell)

Chestnuts and Brown Sugar

Pink Covered Cherries

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Moderate:

Sweet Orange and Chili Pepper

Birthday Cake

Fresh Squeezed Oranges

Snickers Coffee

Pink Kisses

Almond Pastries

Pink Love

Creme de la Creme

Orange Marmalade

Cherries and Chestnuts

Caramel Pecan Pie

Cherry Slushie

Pineapple

Wild Cherry

Light:

Lemon Sugar

French Nougat Glacee

Coffee Bean

Oatmeal Raisin Cookie

I did find her Eggnog to be exactly the same smell as Illuminations but not strong enough so I am hoping to get a "double shot" ~ ha ~ made up special for me because it was sooooo good.

I did see on her NEW list of scents she has Caramel Sugar Crunch. This scent is like dope to me, goes straight from the nose to the veins when we melt it from CFTKR so very interested to try it. We call it CRACK.

Ok, that is my list and all that I have tried from Crosscreek. And please keep in mind all noses are different. I am not discussing whether the scent was strong for you and light for me, I am just posting as we found them in our home.

Also, a reminder. If you have tried any Fall Scents, that would be appreciated as well.

I adore her Prim Tarts and plan to order with our without a sale but I'd sure like a sale this time as my last two orders for me have been without. She makes wonderful products and has great customer service too.

Thanks ~ Cisley

Hayride (again, earthy)

Jack Frost

Warm Vanilla Sugar

ahhh that's all I can think of now. But I know I have more favs.

Ok, so I guess another Crosscreek order is in my future. In the meanwhile, here are some of the scents I have tried:

Caribbean Pear - loved this one! Reminds me of Yankees old Spiced Pear

Strawberry Patch - loved this, strong too!

Banana Blast - good, but light

Melon Mania - good, but light

Wildberry Scones - great and strong

Coco Mango

Copa Cabana

Cucumber Cantaloupe

Tropical Blast

Vanilla Smoothie - all of these great and strong

I havent tried any fall scents yet, but I haven't been disappointed in anything from Deanna!

Heart:

The Fresh Lemon Slices are fabulous. I am trying to get away from the heavy spicy type of stuff. I really liked the Pumpkin Spice Latte but lately it's not agreeing with me. There is something in it that bothers my eyes. Not just from Crosscreek but from anyone. It has something to do with a certain spice that I can't put my finger on.

The good news is, I am also leaning towards strong and SWEET scents now as well as strong and FRESH scents. I am enjoying them much more than the spicy stuff EXCEPT for my Cuppa Chai Tea...

The Pink Sugar Cake is really good. That was my very first Pink Sugar experience!

I am a tad confused by your list. You have the Cuppa Chai, which is really strong but you also have the French Nougat Glacee which I found very light. Do you have a preference on strength of fragrance?

Vanilla Smoothie (my all time bestest favorite vanilla in the world), Celtic Moonspice, Spiced Cranberry and Honeydew/whipped cream (another all time favorite). I wish I could have taken advantage of her recent sale, but I am on serious lockdown until DH gets a job.

Believe me though, I do NOT need a thing and this is a good lockdown. Only thing I may order soon is a candle from CBV. There is a scent that is haunting my mind....Crepe Myrtle.

Cisley~

I almost always burn 2 of the same tarts in two different rooms in the house. I try to "surround" the house in 1 scent. Something like Cuppa Chai, I would only burn 1 in the kitchen. The Glacee was very strong (with 2) in my house. My home has no high ceilings and all the rooms run into one another. Scents seem to drift easily around. To me, if I get the entire house to smell with 2....I'm good to go. I also have a DD who will complain of headaches if the scent is too strong.... Too Strong....I don't think I understand the words....

Ok, I am bringing this topic out of retirement.

Deana is having a sale tomorrow so thought it would help those of you who have not tried her products. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind more input since this was posted a while back. I will be ordering from her later this month.

Any and all input greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Maggie and Susan.

I have written down some from both your lists I would like to try. And Candlefind, if Cinnamon Rolls are worth buying in pounds, then it's worth trying as far as I am concerned.

I might cave and just order trial tarts today. Hmmm.
