It is good to know I am not alone! I have always been a scent addict. I wonder what it is about some people to make them that way. Other people can't stand anything scented. It just makes the world brighter.

Welcome Allie and enjoyed reading your post. I like CYS too (among others). I just got another order from Judy a couple of days ago and then thought, hmmmm, I need some more of her Coconut, Amaretto Cream, Baked Vanilla and Mexican Cocoa before her sale is over. I might dabble in a few other scents as well.

 

I just got some more Crimson Coconut. It's great. I REALLY like her Blood Orange blends as well.

Um why did I just find Evening Eclipse (I see there is a long TAT according to many of you) and Dark Candles? I just ordered from both. I adore earthy incensy scents and both places appear to have them. I don't need ANYTHING ELSE! If I can quit reading here I should be ok:)

We just can't quit it here. We are addicts and enablers. We roam in gangs from sale to sale. We tell each other what we just bought at sale.

 

We delight in receiving packages and share those contents with each other.

 

Some go as far as to post wax porn that make us drool over their new purchases which enables us even more.

Yeah Cisley....um I have gotten soo many tarts that I've now started lurking the Lockdown forum. Today alone I got Evening Eclipse, Dark Candles, Grumpy Girl....AND Grandmas Homebrewed Tarts. WTH? And I am so waiting on HoT & Everyday Whims to reopen. I TRULY need to chill! I need NOTHING. I have already placed REORDERS with some based solely on a cold sniff! WTH?! I got an adjustable halogen (ok I got three) melter(s), one to take to work to melt at my desk. Hopefully with it being on a super low setting it won't aggrivate my coworkers. But I got too much to melt to only do it at home! LOL. Seriously. Some of this is going for Christmas gifts.

Well, I had a rude awakening when I figured out how much Nene's sale was going to cost me. I am not even going to put the $$$ figure down because it shocked me. Sooo, adjustments will be made AND I am thinking I am going to have to lock myself down from buying.

 

I don't care if HOT or NOT OR WAT is having a sale after I do a little damage at Blue Gecko and big damage at Nene's. I am going to stop buying wax until I again have almost empty tubs. I will hoard a bag of CFTKR Caramel Sugar Crunch and Vanilla Bliss as well. I hope it takes 3-4 months for that to happen because I will be melting candles as well.

They look very nice. Do they throw the scent well? I haven't found a melter yet I am happy with.I am going to try my scentsy warmers with a higher wattage bulb.

Hi Denise,

I haven't received mine in the mail yet. BUT I do have a wall-plug-in tart/oil warmer (35 watt halogen light) in my master bath vanity area (quite a small area) and I am pleased with the throw. But again I only started melting tarts a month ago if that. So I'm not the expert. I need the throw to NOT be so strong on my adjustable one since I am buying it for work and I dont want to freak out my coworkers. I do know that when my bathroom one is turned to the max the throw is good and it melts FAST. Also the dish is very small so I have to cut a tart and only use 1/3 of it-- which is probably why it melts so fast.. small piece. The first time I used it I made the mistake of putting too large a piece of wax in. HUGE mistake. Wax spilled (fortunately it did NOT get on my granite countertop) from the little dish into the warmer itself. It seems to have survived though, I've been using it since with no problem after some clean up. So just be careful to use a small piece of wax for those little dishes.

 

I haven't found an adjustable dimmer-type warmer plate one (we know those have good throw).

I just went to Ross and bought two uh... decorative tart storage cabinets. I thought they were a good deal. One will go in the foyer and not sure where the other will go yet. Shame!
