Any experience with Grumpy Girl candles? The scent names are interesting. I am wondering how the CS and TAT are and which scents are good.

Her CS is amazingly fast. I ordered some soaps from her recently they shipped next day. I have yet to try her candles, but her soaps smell fantastic.

I see her melts are on sale for 2.75 right now fir the clamshells. Just in case anyone wanted to try them.

I really, really like her stuff, jules! Her scents are pretty complex and fun, just like the names. The Ay Carumba I melted last week could be smelled the next morning.

I've only tried her melts, not her candles. I did like Ay Carumba and Da Bomb.

Too bad it's in Karma scent. I overdid the patchouli last fall and just can't stand to smell it any more, at least not in a soap. Maybe next year.

It was $50 for the free shipping. Once I hit $30, it just made more sense to try it all at once with free ship, rather than going back later for the ones that got away.

 

I got all clamshells because they seemed to be the best bargain for trying new scents.

Hi. I've been quite pleased with the melts I've tried so far, and the cold sniffs on the ones I haven't melted yet are good too.

 

From what I've tried so far, I like Metro Man Latte, 420, Draft Up your Skirt, and Dirty Deeds. I'm sure there will be more faves but this is all I've tried. The only scent so far that I didn't like much was Deceptions & Lies, but DH liked that one so...

 

The wax is very soft. I find that for me, these worked best with a lower heat melter.

In my 24 watt combo, they started out strong but faded fast, but with my cooler tealight melter, I got a good steady scent throw.

 

I ordered a lot with my first order, but when it's gone, I will reorder. I think with the wax being as soft as it is, I won't order these in the middle of summer here in FL. By Autumn I should be ready for another order.

 

Also, I experienced very good CS. When a soap was backordered, they sent me two others as a replacement, and sent the backordered item too when it became available, so I ended up getting three bars of soap when I ordered just one. and I never had to ask.

Thanks, Jules. I think I will also give them a try for my tealight melters. Like you, I am finding the hard stuff doesn't get hot enough and the throw isn't that great.

I am sure you've either gotten an order and loved it-or didn't order.

 

I personally like the -Draft up My Skirt,Porn Star in Pink Panties, and Girly Girl the best- out of the ones I got.

 

Very closely followed by Drunk Uncle Bob.
