Welcome to the forum Lana! Even though you miss your basement (where do folks without them put all their stuff?!?) I bet you don't miss our cold East Coast winters!

Actually, I don't mind northeastern winters! I am built for cold!

 

As long as I don't have to shovel snow, I love it. I was in PA in the end of October, and it was fairly cold for that time of the year, and I was loving it.

I have to agree with you about those Halloween mosquitoes!!

 

I love living in New England, and fall here is great, although I could live without the winter cold. This Friday it's only supposed to reach 9 degrees for a high -- BRRR! I guess my ideal arrangement would be to spend the late spring through Christmas here, and then the winter and early spring down south somewhere where it's warm. Maybe someday when I retire.
