Welcome to the forum! NC seems to be well represented here - I'm just outside of Raleigh.

How do you like it there? My husband and I have been talking about moving over that way, but have yet to visit.

 

Well come on by and I'll show you around! We love it here! There's theater, museums, great restaurants. There's a wonderful mix of people from everywhere because of Research Triangle Park and all the colleges. There are wonderful health and medical resources available between Duke and UNC. The area is extremely family friendly and there is a ton of stuff to do. It seems like this area is always listed in the top 10 places to live. There are also three Yankee Candle stores in the area.

 

Where in CA did you live? We moved to NC from Los Angeles and also lived in San Francisco while DH went to culinary school.

I lived just about everywhere IN,FL,CA,MI, and now NC lol. Where in FL are you from? I lived in Naples for 8 years.

 

Jamie, I am in Middleburg, right outside of Jacksonville. I was born and raised in Central Florida, though. I guess I will probably always be a Florida girl

I lived in Los Angeles as well. The west hollywood area.
