Contest: What's the relation?

Recommended Posts

This is our contest game for the month of September. Please see the post under Monthly Forum Contests for more details. It includes details of this month's prize package.

How to play:

* I will start off listing a scent name from a particular company. That will be my only post throughout the game. Forum members will keep the game going day to day.

* Find and post another scent name that is somehow related to the scent name listed directly above your post. List the scent name and the vendor. Also include how the scents are related. (Do not post the exact same scent, though).

* Once a vendor has been named, they may not be listed again. Be sure to keep track of what vendors have been named, so you do not disqualify yourself!

* Vendors may be for candles or bath/body.

* You cannot post directly behind yourself. This means there must be at least one other person's response after yours before you can post again.

* This will be a random draw. You will gain one entry for each qualifying post you make. The more entries you make, the greater your chance of winning! But it only takes one entry to win...your name could still be drawn, so join in the fun! The winner will be chosen using Random.org.

* Remember, to be eligible, you must be actively participating in other games within the Game Room. The minimum requirement is one non-contest game during the month. It's easy to do! You can play to win even if you have won one of these contests before!

* Contest ends September 15, 2008 at midnight EST.

Example of how this game will be played:

Poster 1: Blackberry Jam, Up the Creek Candles

Poster 2: Blackberry Brulee, Cleanse Your Soul (Both have blackberry in the name)

Poster 3: Caramel, Gramma Fran's (Brulee has layer of hard caramel)

Poster 1: Caramel Cinnamon Latte, Can-Do Candles (Both have caramel in the name)

Poster 3: Hazelnut Vanilla Coffee, Angie's Country Candles (Latte is a coffee drink)

and so on.

Good luck and have fun!

Cross Creek - Pink Sugar Cake - Brown sugar is an ingredient in caramel.

Cynthia - Is this stretching it too much by using word "brown sugar" instead of "sugar"? I am not sure. If so, just delete this entry. Thanks.
