Hey everyone :) I'm Adam, from the Detroit area... My gf and I started sniffing candles at the big box stores years ago for fun, and just recently it's manifested into something much bigger than either of us could have ever expected.

 

Between her, my mother, and myself, we've gone crazy for wax. It first started with a few Yankee Home Classics that were on sale at our local store, and then it moved on to "real" Yankees, and now it's spread to CCC and BBW. We all have car jars and vent sticks and everything... What's worse is I'm the instigator. I can't get enough of these scents.

 

I just found this site recently, and think it's been quite enlightening. I want to see what else is out there!

 

As it stands, my mom and I just ordered 25 tarts from LOL and we can't wait to get them. I have a feeling we'll be frequenting both candlefind and the forum more than we ought to.

 

Oh, and I can't wait to hear everyone's recommendations...We really wanna smell the BEST there is to smell!

Maggie - can't wait to get our tarts from LOL. My mom chose lots of woody/spicy scents, and I went the more cakey/bakery route.

 

Nautilique - Personally, I really love tropical fruity scents... Yankee Bahama Breeze, BBW's spring 3 wicks are amazing. I'm burning an Island Margarita as I type this. My gf really likes fruity smells and she also loves clean linen scents. Mom is really into woody/coffee/spicy aromas.

 

It seems that none of us are really into floral scents, but I recently bought my mom a Lilac Blossom 3 wick from BBW that was really nice. Too many options...

Hi Adam. Welcome to the forum. BBW has come out with some amazing new scents this past fall and winter. I can't wait to smell their spring collection. I recently placed another order with LOL. Did you happen to order Dole Whip? As a tropical fruit scent fan, you may like that one. It's one of my LOL favorites.
