    ... I took the girls on our own little yoga retreat close to home.

    That sounds absolutely divine! I'm glad you and your girls had such a great time.

     

    I got to light two fresh new candles this morning. I love that part of candle burning.

    [smilie=th_yeahthat] I just did the same thing this morning with Colonial's Fresh Summer Lemon. Such a great candle - terrific throw and oh so beautiful!

     

    ... I have a bunch of things going on and its taking a lot of my time.

    I hope your busy-ness is all fun and no negative!

    Michele, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis. Bless her heart. Glad you SIL got a clean bill of health though.

    Mpfand, your trip sounds fantastic! Napa is such a gorgeous area, and the perfect way to celebrate an anniversary. Your DS is obviously a thoughtful doll! :thwetkissf:

     

    I've been on a candle kick even though our temps are beginning to hit 80. So unlike me - go figure. [smilie=th_roll] I'm still enjoying my YC's two wick tumbler in Honeydew Melon. This morning I'm finishing up a couple YC votives in Mango Peach Salsa and will replace them with Bahama Breeze.

    [smilie=th_hello] back atcha, Debra and Sweet. And good morning to everybody! Yep, Sweet, there's not much to dislike about evergreen pears. Well, except for the fact that they don't produce pears! [smilie=th_giggle]

     

    Nothing burning or melting around here this morning. I just got up! Once I get organized, I may give my new Yankee Pink Sands candle a try.

     

    So glad my state has finally fixed the broken clocks around here. [smilie=th_tease-1]

    Hi everybody! [smilie=th_wave]

     

    Hey Sweet, spring is just around the corner! Gotta love those early bird crocuses, eh? Around here, the weeping willows are getting beautiful, all fresh and newly green. Evergreen pears are just starting to burst into bloom. [smilie=th_yay]

     

    I've mostly been burning Yankee candles lately. A couple of votives in Fruit Fusion. Not much throw, but they're only wee votives. The large tumbler in Honeydew Melon is fabulous!

    I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day. Mine was nice but, um, not very romantic. DH and I accomplished a lot in our backyard. Neither of us is sentimental or romantic, so we agree it was a great day. [smilie=th_clap1] Maybe this is what marriage looks like after almost 46 years?? [smilie=th_FULL_O17]

     

    I'm melting the fabulous, stupendous, exceptional Mimi's House from Can-Do today. [smilie=th_drool33456183iw4]

    Hi all,

     

    I'm loving all the DH comments. Men are definitely from another planet, one where donuts probably smell like pine trees and lemons smell like barns. [smilie=th_laughing]

     

    Roserent, you've been a melting force lately! [smilie=yes]

     

    I'm hosting a small dog club committee meeting this afternoon. The current melt is Tara's Candle Cottage Cinnamon Twist. I love it and am curious to hear what my buddies think.

    Sweet, thanks for the info on GC. I too love Gold Canyon candles. I "need" to get some!

     

    Just got back from taking my pup to the regional park. This time of year there are so many awesome birds, which is a big deal to bird lovers like me. [smilie=th_yay] I saw great blue herons, white tailed kites, western bluebirds, a red shouldered hawk, a northern harrier, snowy egrets. So cool! [smilie=th_yahoo]

     

    Time to settle in and enjoy HHS Trick or Treat again. [smilie=th_slider_flirt] I hope you're all having a really good day.

    Trep, I'm so sorry about your father-in-law.

     

    Mpfand, bummer re the car repair. How's your weather up north? We got a good amount of rain and it's been 20-25 degrees overnight. Lots of ice! :o

     

    Sweet, I'm a little lost. Is your GC's Holiday Wreath Goose Creek or Gold Canyon, please?
