Hello everyone! After being gone for a 10 day road trip with the family, I am so happy to be home with my smellies! Disneyland was amazing, and I love the beach, but there is no place like home. I have Spotted Hog's Red Velvet Cake going in the living room, Lol's Livin on a Layer in the bedroom, and Pina Colada Jellybeans jar candle going. Hope you have all been well!

Just burning candles tonight... the last of my Pineapple Cream Cake layer in my LOL jar, and my Pink Sugared Strawberry CFTKR jar.

Oh PuppyLove, I hope you LOVE Doodlebug!! It is probably my #2 favorite scent.. it just makes me happy! I was going to re-start my AMS pink sugar this morning, but just wasn't feeling it. Popped it out, re-lit the LOL Pineapple Cream Cake, and found a Carribean sample from AMS. Very pineapple-y, and DEEE-LICIOUS!! I want to lick it! This one goes on the re-order list!

Hi! I have been trying to blend candles in the kitchen with tarts in the living room today. Earlier it was my LOL jar candle in Pineapple Cream Cake and a Coco Mango tart from GHBT. That was awesome, very tropical! Tonight I started my Pink Sugared Strawberry 8 oz jar from Carol.... which is adorable. The scent is not terribly powerful on it's own, but I do think it would fill a bedroom. I paired it up with AMS Pink Sugar and it was instantly blow the doors off strong! I was cooking, and I had to blow it out because the scent was just too much with the food smells. I will try again tomorrow morning. But, if you love pink sugar, you should definetely try this one!

Hey MM!! I think you should move to Wyoming... we need teachers and I would help you melt your stash!! Plus.... super cheap living!! No shopping opportunities will help with lockdown, and below zero temperatures in the winter encourage you to burn more candles. Sell that story to your fiance... and I will put in a good word for you!

Switched to Cherry Chip Cake from Can-do... I like this one, I just wish it was a little heavier on the cherry.

Good Morning! I still feel like I am trying to wake up... isn't even doing it for me today. After going through almost every tart I have at school, the kids decided on GHBT's Doodle Bug. Ohhh... good choice. This should perk me up.

It has been yet another crazy day at school, and melting has been off/on. I had Cherry Coconut from LOL going which I loved, but one kid was not a fan, so we switched it out for Can-do's Cherry Chip Cake. It was good at first, but seemed to fade fast. Should I be letting my Can-do's cure for awhile? :?

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! I figured better late in the day than never. I got very spoiled today, my husband made breakfast and dinner and we went out to lunch with my parents. SOOO NICE! I lit a second tealight under that little pumpkin pie slice from Spotted Hog, and it lasted the full five hours, pretty impressive. My 5 year old has picked up on how to ice the melter, so when I came in from outside I found her sticking it in the freezer. :oops: Yay! Gotta start 'em young! So she picked out Sugar Bits from LOL.. I love this one!

My daughter wanted to melt one of the cute little bakery shapes from Spotted Hog. We picked the pumpkin pie slice, and it is delicious! It has been awhile since I burned a pumpkin scent, and I forgot how much I love it. So comforting.... good night all!

Grumpy Girl Romp in the Orchard was a blow you out of the house strong one! TERRIFIC! I could smell it throughout the entire main floor of my house. I hope the others are this good. I should go clean the kids' room, but I am not very motivated right now. Time for a movie I think!

Yummy Denim! How do you like the Strawberry Moonshine? I bought that scent in Lip Crack... put it on ang gagged, and immediately tossed it in the trash. Don't know if it was the scent or the lip balm formula, either way I didn't care for it. I gave my mother in law her Grumpy Girl Gift of 420.... she thought it was hilarious. She was going to melt it before her husband got home to see if he could guess what it was supposed to smell like. Speaking of Grumpy Girl... I think I will go try some Romp in the Orchard. I will report back.

Honeydew Melon Pina Colada Jellybeans or Banana Split?

Hi Sheryl! My last box from Allison took about 4 weeks... which is a while to wait, I just love her stuff so much! I got Flamingo Kisses in the lotion and soap, and I think it is terrific! I also got Sugar Bits in lotion and wore it to a meeting, and everyone kept asking what smelled like cookies! I LIKE to smell like cookies!

Good morning everyone! I am looking to you for perky cheerfulness since I am running Saturday School this morning to a group of high schoolers with hangovers... two of which got MIP's last night! Needless to say they are not so happy to be here. My job is awesome, what can I say??? :( I really am in a good mood though... how could I not be with a LOL sale going on?? Just starting the internal debate over which scents to put in another jar candle Aria... husbands just can't make you happy in the same way candles can- I say :oops: and ORDER AWAY!!! I have LOL's Cherry Coconut on, and am about to order more of this!

Today has been another nutty day, I can't wait till school is over! This morning we melted LOL Watermelon Taffy :) then Apple Buttercream Crunch... which was good until we had the pizza party, and that was NOT a good combo. Since then we aired out the room and put in Can-do's Cocomint Frost. This is my first Can-do tart, and I am impressed! I have really been in love with minty scents lately. I have this, Blue Gecko's Forever Alice, and LOL's L'Amore De Mamie.... any others I should try?

Ha ha on the 420 Bigred! I bought that for my mother in law... I can't wait to see what she thinks when I give it to her this weekend. My DH thought the cold sniff was pretty dead on! How would he know that? I have Vanilla Crazee from Candledippers going.... ok, nothing really worth getting excited over. Good night every body!

Cmarie... I hear you on the crunch time at school... I had the state department here this morning! Congratutions to your son! I put in L'amore de Mamie from LOL, this may be a new favorite! LOVE IT!! Very similar to BG's Forever Alice in my opinion. Off to arena scheduling! Have a great afternoon!

Hey Cmarie... I have to let my LOL jars burn for quite a long time on the first burn to get it all the way to the edges. After that, it seems to get back to about normal. I would say on a first burn I let it go for 4-5 hours.

#5- Scent- Summer Lovin

Jules, I think I was feeling a bit like you today. I went through a ton of tarts at school today, and just couldn't get happy. Tried Nene's Bake Shoppe, Birthday Cake, Cherry Chip Cake, and Red Velvet Cake. No, no, no, and no. Nothing with cherry in it from her has smelled right to me, almost chemical-y. It took a Doodle Bug from GHBT to make it right. Now that I am finally home I have Sweet Commotion from LOL going, and it is good, I just wish it was a bit stronger. Hoping for a better melting day tomorrow.

My DH was not a fan of the Sweet Fried Bananas... he said it smelled like cheap air freshener. Nice.... It's ok though, since it only lasted for about 2 hours. I just put on Macintosh Apple from Missy's tempting tarts, I have been letting these sit for a few weeks hoping they would get stronger. The first batch I had were awesome, and these are just so-so. With all the other vendors I have been so impressed with, I don't know if I will re-order from here. Have a good night everyone!
