Happy weekend everyone! I've been melting LOL Sangria Moon and Vanilla Shake Cake in the living room. Can-Do Raspberry Violet is in the bedroom.

My order is from February of 2011. In addition to the containers disintegrating, the melts themselves are so oily, I have to wash my hands after putting one of the tarts in the melter. Even if she changed the packaging, wouldn't the fragrance oils still get all over the place? Anyway, I love how strong LSC's throws are, but they come at a price IMO.

(Just a warning to some folks here -- due to some extenuating circumstances, I don't have a whole lot of vendor diversity in my stash right now. That doesn't bother me, but just FYI, there'll be a lot of LOL mentioned in the months to come, along with a few others. This has been a public service announcement. Thank you.)

My recent scents have included SH Blue Hawaiian, SM Marshmallow Lemon Cookie, and LOL Tropical Red. My choices of what to melt/burn are highly affected by the weather, I just can't enjoy spicy scents when it's hot out. Hopefully it'll cool off soon!

"Messy to handle" sure describes my LSC tarts. I have SH Bewitched Broomsticks going in the bedroom. It's always nice to have a few cinnamon scents that are less foody than most. I like this one just as much. In the living room it's LOL Spazztastic Melon Balls, which DH said he liked. Today is supposed to be a warmer day, so I'm returning to some fruity stuff for a while. Gotta love mixing it up!

I'm on one now and have been on it since spring. My only "slip-up" was getting a make-your-own candle at the Yankee store, but I think that one's ok. My goal is to lengthen the lockdown until December and then I'll treat myself to a few things in December and January.

I'm melting SH Lemon Pound Cake and burning YC Lemon Lavender plus a votive in Fresh Sugar Lemon. Just my speed.

I'm curious about the spiced cranberry scents out there. It's fall and I'm not huge on pumpkin, plus I miss EW Cranberry Craze. Has anybody tried Full Moon's Cranberry Clove or Pure Integrity's Cranberry Spice? Any other cozy cranberries to recommend?

Happy Monday all. I'm kicking off October with YC Kitchen Spice in the living room and a friend's Goldie Dreadlocks in the bedroom. I have my ONE fall-scented candle now, hopefully I can stave off the desire for more pumpkin/leaves/apple/spice-scented candles by melting fall scents.

Oh Laurie, I am so sorry. Losing pets is so hard. I'll be thinking of you and your family (including dear Tippi) this weekend. Releasing her from her pain is a very humane and selfless decision, and I'm sure what she remembers from the rainbow bridge is years of love and devotion.

I'm melting CYS Autumn Song in the living room and LSC Celtic Myst. Also on the candle end of things, I'm burning a brand new one! I solved my "need fall & winter candles but I'm about to move" problem by making a layered candle at the Yankee store! It's the perfect solution. You can read more about it down in the Hodge Podge forum if you're interested in details. :)

Feel better Maggie! I'm burning YC Lemon Lavender and some votives, and melting CYS Red Apple Lavender.

Update: I now have a Lush Rockstar dupe in the bedroom, LOL Caribbean in the living room, and the swirl candle/votives still going. (Thanks again for reassuring me that the wick was just too short, Maggie!)

Laurie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dear Tippi. Our furry friends are so special. Hugs to you and your family. What does VDC stand for? I looked in the abbreviations thread and didn't see it listed there. I put on a couple of brand new votives from a CF pal and in the melter is LSC Scarlet Moon. I like this one for a cool fall evening, but I'm about to make some shortbread cookies so the melter's about to get turned off.

Hi all. Today I'm melting LSC Ocean Blue in the bedroom and Honey Bunny from a friend in the living room. And if I'm not mistaken, it's about time to bring out the candles for the cooler weather. Huzzah! I am excited because this upcoming move gives me the chance to work through my stash a bit...not just melts but candles too. Then I might have an excuse to reload after we move!

Oh dear, Sweet! I hope your kitty gets better soon! I don't have much experience with those cone things so I don't think I can be of much help -- my best thought is just to try to distract him as much as possible so he doesn't go nuts trying to get it off. I needed something lighter/sweeter after that amber scent I had going yesterday, so it's SH Fizzy Pop and LOL Da Bomb Poppz. Speaking of pumpkin, DH and I made baked pumpkin doughnuts today. Delicious and perfect for fall!

Hi all. It's back to fruity for a while -- I'm melting SH Dewberry and LOL Persephone's Ambrosia. Yesterday I played with my tart collection a bit and brought out some fall stuff. I have a little mini shelving unit that sort of serves as my "center of command" for day-to-day melting operations, and that little unit is a lot more crowded now. Lots of scents and scent categories to choose from!

Hi, candle buddies! I'm officially melting my first fall scent of the season: CFTKR Amish Harvest. I love fall and this smells SO GOOD. It may be time to retire my tropical/fruity scents in the near future. In the bedroom is AMS Dancing Waters.
