  1. I did order and got my order yesterday actually! I got a few Limited Edition and Discontinued Scents so my order took a little extra time. Good to know that her scents are super strong! Melting: YC Vanilla Lime in LR Soy Serenity Nectarine Mint in BR Burning: Mainstays Pear in kitchen
  2. Aria, OMG! I would have been crazy with worry too! But everything turned out good! I'm so happy for you! Oh, and there is a 50% off sale still going on at Grumpy Girl. Use code UPINSMOKE to get the 50% discount on their clearance section only. Melting: last of Candle-Lite Apple Cider in LR YC Macintosh Spice in kitchen (Luminessence Apple Cinnamon was a dud all the way around) Glade Pure Vanilla Joy in BR (interested to see how the Glade melts throw for me) After putting up all my wax, I am completely 100% out of room in my fruit scented tarts box! I guess I better order light on that category for a while...
  3. Just got back from the mall...and Chili's...and BF had to pick up a birthday card at Walmart and I had some birthday money left. I found these 5oz clamshells, which I have dubbed mega-packs...and some more of the dual and 3-in-1 packs....and the last of my birthday money is going to a Front Porch order tonight, I think. Oh, and my Grumpy Girl order came in! Melting: YC Pomengranate Cider in LR Luminessence Apple Cinnamon in kitchen (I'm hoping the tealight melter can coax some scent out of this) Luminessence Sugar Cookie in BR
  4. U- Uncle Chuck's Creme Brulee Cupcakes
  5. Melting: YC Pomengranate Cider in LR Luminessence Sugar Cookie in BR Burning: Candle-Lite Apple Cider in kitchen BF loves it when I put a fresh tart on because he likes to push around the solid part of the tart in the bowl...kind of like scooting a pat of butter around the bottom of a pot to get it to melt faster. It's hilarious to watch!
  6. Just can't leave the scents alone! Melting: YC Red Apple Wreath in LR Luminessence Sugar Cookie in BR (not quite as strong as Vanilla from this company but serviceable) Burning: Candle-Lite Apple Cider Congrats on your test Honeybear! I also tend to think that I failed everything miserably and then find out I did okay.
  7. Omg yes, when I was looking at websites for gemstone engagement rings, the rubies and emeralds were very expensive, like more than our 2 cars combined cost! Thanks! It is such an exciting time! I and BF are having a wedding planning meeting tonight. Low key, but I figure this way we can get on the same page. Right now we're thinking reception at a park in the fall. Thanks so much! I'm excited that I talked BF into a mall day tomorrow too! An obligatory trip to Yankee is in order. Melting: YC Red Apple Wreath in LR Luminessence Vanilla in BR Burning: Candle-Lite Apple Cider in kitchen
  8. Five inches is a lot for us to get in a month, let alone a single snowfall! It was madness until today really. It's always my luck. Everything I try they then discontinue, or it's seasonal! Pomengranate Cider...Whoopie Pie...Snowflake Cookie...Red Apple Wreath...it goes on and on. Same scents as last post. I think tomorrow I will go back to my candle and two melters setup. It was just too busy earlier this week and today I was recovering and couldn't be bothered to. Also, we ordered my engagement ring and our wedding rings...right in the beginning of the yearly ring rush, so it'll probably be a month before we get ours. But I really liked the place we got them from because I was able to customize my engagement ring with a 1 carat garnet. Garnets are my birthstone, and so lovely! Plus they also represent strength, fidelity, and loyalty.
  9. Hi everyone! Lots of homework hit, then 5!!!! inches of snow! I'm just starting to dig out of both enough to post. Recently Melted: YC Red Apple Wreath (YUMMO) YC Pomengranate Cider (sweet and spicy!) Luminessence Apple Cinnamon (gave it a 1/5 on scent throw, gonna try it in the tealight melter to see if the rest of the mini clamshell performs better in there) Luminessence Vanilla (delicious and toasted and it's lasted a long time) The Luminessence brand is from the Dollar Tree, of all places! They're such tiny clamshells that they're not the best deal, however. Right now I'd only pick up the vanilla again, and only if I was already in the store, kwim?
  10. Nevermind, spoke too soon! Melting: YC Fireside in LR Burning Candle-Lite Apple Cider in kitchen Soy Serenity Oatmeal Milk & Honey in BR Biolaeagles, a date night is always good!
  11. Just wanted to pop in and congratulate Sunlight on the thread name! I think it'll be a minute before I post new scents again...MacIntosh Spice keeps on going and going and I'm still working through the same clamshell in the BR.
  12. It's a melt. You only get about a YC's tart's worth ounce-wise, but it's segmented into 4 thin squares. The throw and scent was good, but it's a spice scent so it's gonna throw. I have not tried their candles unfortunately. Aw man! If the drain starts to be slow, you could pour baking soda in the drain and then vinegar. It foams up and clears it out without harmful chemicals. I have very long hair so I have to do that monthly and everything drains perfectly! Melting: YC MacIntosh Spice in LR Candle-Lite Apple Cider in kitchen Soy Serenity Oatmeal Milk & Honey in BR
  13. Whoops lol! S- Salted Lime Margarita
  14. Melting: Wood Essence (WoodWick) Pumpkin Pie in LR Burning Candle-lite Apple Cider in kitchen Soy Serenity Oatmeal Milk & Honey in BR Felt like going in a new scent direction!
