Glad to see you on the forum! I think the best thing about having family members into candles and tarts as well is...having someone you can give scents you don't like in the hopes that they do! I hate to just throw away a tart that really isn't me, so my little sister gets them. No complaints so far from her.

Hey everybody! It's been a couple days since I posted, but I was busy trying to get ahead enough in classwork in order to have a fun weekend out....and now that I'm back, the nose must be to the grindstone even more than before! Stuff I melted recently: YC Cherry Lemonade, YC Cherries on Snow, Scentsy Watermelon Mint, Soy Serenity Berry Tangerine, and burning a large jar of BHG Sweet Cherry Pie. Mmmm!

Trying out YC Home Classics Coral Shores. I'll finish out this one tart but this scent is not for me! It's again, super strong so I need to shut the melter off every so often. But it is not headache inducing, so I am thankful for that.

Stuff I melted recently... Scentsy Watermelon Mint had no mint, all super strong watermelon! I liked it but WOO it was strong. YC Juicy Peach was delish and slightly fresh scented? If that makes sense? I am actually melting a green tart right now! YC Vanilla Lime in the kitchen.

U- Uplift

Switched up the bedroom melter since that one single Soy Serenity cube finally gave out...Now I have Scentsy Watermelon Mint going in there. Just got my first Front Porch order in the mail and the tiny cello baggies are SO CUTE!

Haven't heard anything from them yet...but if they were at the ER forever they probably went home and right to sleep. Plus she's a no-news-is-good-news type of person, kwim? Afternoon melts and candles: HHS Girls' Night out in LR (I have only a half scent shot of this going and it's NICE. Very much like the stereotypical drinks one gets at a girls' night out.) Soy Serenity Berry Tangerine in BR (This one cube keeps going and going! All the berry scent is gone and right now I get zest and orange notes. This is not a problem.) Mainstays Pear in kitchen

Debra, I hope your doggie is doing better this morning. to your girls NMhoneybear! I hope you get the abosolute max fun out of this weekend with everyone all together! My cousin had to go to the ER because she fainted 2x in a day, but I haven't heard much since yesterday. BF was a total sweetheart and took her there so she didn't have to take that $2,000 ride in an ambulance. She eats well and exercises and overall takes care of herself, so I'm not super worried, but I am so glad she's getting checked out just in case. Working on homework from yesterday since we didn't get back until 8ish and then I made wings, potato wedges, and celery for dinner. Melts: YC Uplift in LR (I seriously LOVE this. It's spa without the headache notes for me.) Soy Serenity Berry Tangerine in the BR Candles: Mainstays Pear in kitchen (I've had a few nights where we got home too late to burn this sucker, but one day I will finish destashing all those grocery store candles from last year!)

I finally decided I liked it! After YC's Christmas Eve, I wasn't sure if I was in the mood for 'heavier' fruit scents, kwim? When it was mostly cranberry I was on the fence but once the orange note came out I loved it! Melting: YC Mandarin Cranberry in LR Soy Serenity Berry Tangerine in BR (this blends really well with the Mandarin Cranberry. I suppose it's the combo of orange + sweet berries!)

From the couple I have tried, I would agree with you! The cherry one they have I had to split into fourths. Melting: YC Uplift in LR (It's from their Relaxing Rituals line and it's a grapefruit, lemon, and ginger blend. I really like it!) Soy Serenity Nectarine Mint in BR Burning: Mainstays Pear in kitchen (I have never seen a cheap candle like this get such a deep, even wax pool! It's about 2 inches deep, like what one would see in a multi-wick candle.)
