  1. Hi everyone! I've been melting a bunch o' scents lately like: FP Creme Brulee Dessert! I went to go get another 719 Walnut Avenue Pumpkin Waffles candle...and apparently the word has spread locally because they are all GONE. I did look at the other scents this time, and I saw there's a shelf tag for a Pumpkin Latte scent, and I sniffed what was there. Notable scents were Mint Lemonade and a dupe of Leaves. Current Scents: YC Country Kitchen in Coconut YC Bahama Breeze BHG Salted Lime Margarita
  2. T- Trick or Treat! (YC Swirl candle of Candy Corn + Buttercream) I wish either of those scents threw for me...ever!
  3. Hey all! Pretty excited about this long weekend myself. 719 Walnut Avenue in Pumpkin Waffles FP Zucchini Spice Roll Mainstays Vanilla Nut (I really wish they had a clamshell of just this scent! )
  4. I'm not sure what scents they had exactly, but I want to say there were 10 scents or more judging by the colors of the waxes. I've had enough duds in general with cheap candles to usually stick to BHG, Mainstays 3-wicks, and Glade, so I don't usually give this brand a second look.... I wouldn't have tried it if fiance hadn't picked it up and smelled it first. I would say that for Pumpkin Waffles, at least, the cold sniff is very true to the hot throw. Good luck finding Fall waxies! I think when we looked the 'actual' candle aisle was in the middle of Fall switchover so it was completely picked over...seems like Glade/Air Wick/whatever else lives in the cleaning aisle swaps over faster than the other. 719 Walnut Avenue in Pumpkin Waffles BHG Vanilla Cookie Crunch Air Wick in Acadia PS: If anyone gets Air Wick melts, they look like mini Kit-Kats. It's so strange...
  5. Just starting my wax up too! 719 Walnut Street in Pumpkin Waffles HHS Vanilla Pumpkin Air Wick in Acadia BHG Corner Coffee Shop (still hasn't run out of scent yet )
  6. Replaced some of the other scents with Acadia by Air Wick...not super impressed with the longevity of these, but they're the kind of thing I pick up when I have a coupon only anyways. Pumpkin Waffles is still going strong. Can you tell I want Fall to get here?
  7. If he could have scent at his work, I totally would have to! But our apartment is small enough to share scents easily. We're trying the Pumpkin Waffles candle right now, and it has AMAZING throw. This brand, 719 Walnut Avenue, is hiding in the aisle with the Glade candles, sprays, etc at Wal-Mart. The candles are $5-6 3-wicks. I think they're worth a try! 719 Walnut Avenue in Pumpkin Waffles Air Wick in Acadia FP Creme Brulee Dessert BHG Corner Coffee Shop (the scent just won't gooo)
  8. Hi everyone! Rivercat, I am so sorry for your loss of your cat. Cookielady, Get Well Soon! Remember last time I posted, I said I was checking out the grocery store wax? Glade has kept their clamshells at the $3 price, but they've shrunk an entire ounce! It's a shame because they have some nice new Fall scents, plus a nice 'gourmet' sampler. I don't think a grocery store brand has done a sampler before? I also picked up one of their Fall candles, in Maple Tree Inn. I am a huge fan! I also purchased some Air Wick melts, which are $3-ish for 3.1oz wax. I'm excited to see how these turn out. I got Acadia (Pumpkin Spice basically), and Cinnabon branded cinnamon buns. Fiance finally caught the waxie fever! He picked up a candle in Pumpkin Waffles from a Walmart brand that looks like a BBW dupe, smelled it, and put it in the cart! I was shocked! Glade Maple Tree Inn FP Creme Brulee Dessert BHG Corner Coffee Shop(so glad it's the last of this) Glade Pure Vanilla Joy Scentsy Two Harbors
  9. Hey guys! Glad to hear that your move went well, Biolaeagles. I absolutely detest moving...although it is good for decluttering! Rivercat, I hope you get good news from the vet for poor Isis soon. Gonna go check out the new Fall scents for Glade if the store has them out yet. Plus, I'm going to see what Air Wick has to offer in the way of tarts since I have a coupon for them. Currently I have going: WoodWick Campfire Marshmallow HHS Toasted Marshmallow Glade Pure Vanilla Joy
  10. Hi guys! Finally checking in after wayy too long. I think I'll keep it pretty short for tonight, so let's just say I've melted and burned a LOOT. Has anyone else tried BHG Corner Coffee Shop? I have a clam I've been melting off and on but I don't like it and I can't figure out why. Any thoughts? WoodWick Toasted Marshmallow YC Campfire Treat Glade Creamy Custard for tonight!
  11. Good good! Crazy busy, as we ended up moving the wedding back to our anniversary in April in order to get more time to plan stuff, and my current job is over in 9 days. So a lot of my computer time has been spent hunting up jobs here and there. :) I'll eventually post more, I swear! Mostly I get a free hour to catch up here and there and I lurk and read but never get caught up enough to post. -_- V- Violet
  12. Hello everyone and Things have been beyond hectic around here. I went up to full time at my job, and wedding planning is in full swing. We also just got back from vacation Sunday, so there's that too. It's great to see what everyone has been up to! Recently melted tarts: Glade Hawaiian Breeze, YC Bahama Breeze, YC Luau Party, YC Paradise Punch, YC Margarita Time, YC Island Pineapple, YC Pina Colada and YC Fruit Fusion. Recently Melted: FP Chocolate Iced Cupcakes, Glade Creamy Custard, YC Fruit Fusion Currently: YC Mandarin Cranberry in the LR Scentsy Watermelon Mint in the BR Current candle: Cherry Skittles in the kitchen.
  15. it's a lot of fun here!
  16. A belated and welcome to the forum! The girls here got me hooked on tarts too!
  17. Thanks everyone for the congratulations! And yes, Sweet! Fiance was cooking dinner and I went around swapping scents later and the candle was out. I asked him what happened (because this is a new to me vendor and I wanted to know if we had melt pool/ wick problems here) and he told me that it had randomly went out while he was cooking. I investigated and a large piece of onion had landed in there, snuffed it, and then sunk to the bottom of the wax pool. By this point, the soy wax had re-solidified. I fished it out but I was getting major onion notes from the candle after that and out it went. Such an odd thing, normally he isn't a messy cook at all! Happy Mother's Day, and eventually I will post what I'm melting once all the warmers are ready to go.
  18. everyone! Things have been absolute madness here, so I haven't melted much or used candles. NMHoneybear, I totally understand the whole flurry of finals at this time of year. I took my last one Tuesday. I have graduation tomorrow. Recently I have melted.... YC Home Sweet Home YC Spice Cupboard YC Kitchen Spice Soy Serenity Coffee Cappuccino Brulee YC Black Coconut YC Cinnamon Vanilla CandleSmith Candles Maple Pancakes Glade Creamy Custard Recent candles.... Gee-Gee's Soybean Candles in Birthday Cake Gee-Gee's Soybean Candles in Caramel Latte (met an untimely end when an onion slice jumped out of the stir fry cooking right into the wax pool and the onion made the wax, um, fragrant) Delori Smell of Christmas
