  1. I'm trying layering smells a little bit tonight with Cashmere Woods (now out to let the last of the burnable wax harden back for tomorrow), and Cinnamon from Mainstays. It's coming out interestingly.
  2. I'll go with Kentucky Corn Cakes...although neither smell calls to me honestly. But I have to go with Kentucky Corn Cakes since I'm IN Kentucky. Now...battle of the fall standbys! Apple Cinnamon or Pumpkin Spice!
  3. Pumpkin Embers sounds really interesting! Howsabout YC's new Winter scents? Merry Marshmallow or Celebrate Christmas? http://www.yankeecandle.com/yankee-candles/festive-fragrances
  4. French Market Cookies sounds divine. Although so does The Myrtles...but French Market Cookies seems like a safer bet for me, haha Gonna go with Glade's seasonal scents~ http://www.glade.com/en/fragrances/collections/limited-edition-fall-collection Fall Hayride or Salted Caramel?
  5. I do like Candy Corn, but the Mallowcreme pumpkins are my favorite! The person below me cannot wait for after Christmas wax sales.
  6. Warm and Cozy! I have a Delori candle that has the same scent name and I think it might be the same blend? On cold sniff, it's all Red Hots and spices. Haven't lit it yet though. How about FP's Mountain Dew Pop or Original Gain? http://frontporchcandleco.com/pages/scents.php I really want to try both of those!
  7. Oooh, I love apple butter so I would have to go with that one. Better Homes & Gardens: Peppermint Chocolate Truffle or Sweet Pecan Pie (I think that was the name.)?
  8. V- Vented (I think we've all done that one, lol)
  9. Aww thanks! I actually really love forum games and it's been a while since I played. Now, to think of a Q scent.... Q- Queen Anne's Lace (YC http://www.yankeecandle.com/detail/queen-anne%27s-lace/1073366) I don't think this would be a smell that I would want though. >__>
  10. Thanks for letting me know about the newsletters! I had already signed up for the YC one, but I had not thought to get BBW, since they do body and bath products mostly, and I have enough of those for a lifetime, haha. I will do that tomorrow probably, and I printed off a couple Glade printable coupons, so I'm excited to take a trip to the grocery store this week and see what I can get with 'em! Also good to know that BBW sometimes has printables on their receipts. I think I might drop in whenever the little sister bugs to go to the mall again, lol.
  11. Home Sweet Home, no question! I'm pretty sure my sister's YC fundraising catalog had a scratch and sniff of that I about wore out. Hard Mode: YC's Mmm!Bacon or Turkey and Stuffing?
  12. O- Orchard Apple Cinnamon (why is even Glade getting into the limited edition scents game, )
  13. Haha debra99, it's more like how Rivercat mentioned that they breeze in and out. I just get paranoid about it! xD Also as the night wears on, I'm really impressed with this Glade candle. It's almost filled up 745 square feet by itself. Mind you, I have a pretty open floor plan so that might be aiding it.
  14. Yes I kind of get what you mean with the seasonal smells! I think I might hunt for a snow smell that doesn't headache me this season. Any recs? :3
  15. Aww, thanks for the speedy and smiley-face filled welcome! :D I'm kind of excited because I just discovered that when we go visit BF's family in NH, there are TWO YC outlet stores. Glorious!
  16. Once I get home from my kid wrangling job, I'm SO gonna light up Glade's Cashmere Woods while I clean house. Gotta love those apartment inspections. I always flip out and go perfectionist. Before work today I was wiping down wall trim and freshening drains with baking soda. Because that is exactly what they will check, how fresh the drains are. LOL
  17. At 23 and having lived in plenty of dorms and campus housing that does not allow open flames ever EVER, I'm just now really getting into candles, but I've always loved smelly goods. :3 I and BF have had our apartment for about a year, but things were too hectic until after Christmas last year. Then, I discovered the ever-lovely after Christmas HUGE CANDLE SALE AT WALMART. I got a ton of scents, and the weather has just now begun to work for candles. Then my friend mentioned the Yankee Candle Company, and the internet tells me that Slatkin & Co./White Barn/ Bath and Body Works are as good or better. SO MUCH WAX. Since I'm still a student, I plan on getting things for cheap whenever I can. So far, I've tried Better Homes and Gardens (good), Mainstays (good), Holiday Time (good, and I think made by the Mainstays people), Luminessence (not so good, the Dollar Tree let me down on this one), Simple Living (meh but serviceable), and Glade (really surprised by the throw on this one!). I'm a fan of foody smells, spices, and fruits. The only clean type smell I really care for is Gain detergent. The other clean type smells and florals often give me a headache. Does anyone else have that happen?
