Aria, I can't believe I didn't notice them for so long! I guess I've been buying a lot more tarts than candles from YC the past couple years. mpfand, glad to hear your visit is going well! Tonight I'm burning B&BW London Calling.

I had ScentSationals Ginger Peach on the hot plate all day, and just started YC Lake Sunset in the living room. It seemed very floral on cold sniff, so we'll see... ETA: Has anyone else noticed the new category labeling on Yankee's candles? I just looked at the Turquoise Sky I bought for my friend and it has a little "Fresh" icon next to the name. My Harvest has a "Food & Spice." Haven't seen any other categories yet.

Happy Friday! Tonight I have L'Artisan Fig going in the living room and B&BW Eucalyptus Mint in the bathroom.

Aria, the swimming smiley made me laugh! I hope you're feeling better Biolaeagles, awww, poor little guy! Thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery! mpfand, I hope your sister's visit goes well. I'm 10 and 12 years older than my 2 brothers, and while I've always gotten along very well with the younger one, the middle one and I have definitely had our issues! We've become a lot closer in the past few years and put much of the bad feelings behind us. Holiday dinners are a lot more pleasant now ;) Not much melting this week, between long hours at work and going to the A's-Mariners game last night--lots of fun, but I was SO tired today! The weird muggy weather isn't helping much. Tonight I have YC Turquoise Sky in the tealight burner. Time to relax!

Ack! Know how you feel--most of my books are in storage offsite and it seems like those are the only ones I want to read ;) Hope the craziness is over soon and you love the new kitchen! Mpfand, glad you had a good time! I love Disneyland Had B&BW Lemon & Mint Leaf going this afternoon, and just swapped out for YC Sun & Sand. Supposed to be high 90s here tomorrow. Guess I won't be getting out the fall scents just yet :blink:

Hoping to make it to the mall tomorrow to check out both B&BW and YC. I remembered to print out the coupons AND put them in my purse this time around. Usually I only remember coupons when I'm halfway to the mall entrance Tonight it's YC Oceanside in the living room and B&BW Watermelon Lemonade in the bedroom. Needed something light this evening, as it's warm and a little humid out.

Tonight it's AmbiEscents Lemongrass Ginger Tea. I grabbed several more clamshells of this at BB&B last weekend ^_^

Trep, what a pretty avatar! Tonight I'm testing a votive of YC Meadow Showers. Even unlit I could smell it across the room! Not sure if it's a keeper, though--not bad, just not remarkable.

This is one of my current obsessions--I can't seem to get enough of it lately. The name certainly could indicate a whole bunch of things, right? It's one of Streetman's coffee scents: "fresh brewed coffee, cinnamon and cream." It's probably the least creamy and sweet scent in their coffee lineup. Tonight it's B&BW London Calling. Yikes, good to know! I will definitely keep an eye on them if I use the melter. I was also thinking of maybe just cutting the wax out, since it's fairly soft. This morning it's Streetman Juan's Burro Ride in the living room and TDC Lemon Eucalyptus in the bathroom. Supposed to be heading to a friend's backyard bbq in a couple hours, but it's all chilly and grey outside. The poor woman has already changed the date twice

MaggieMae, what an adorable cabinet! Hope you're having a wonderful vacation. Didn't melt much over the weekend, but tonight I have YC Vanilla Lime in the living room and a B&BW mini Lemon candle in the dressing area. I haven't been terribly impressed with the B&BW minis so far: the throw is great for the size, but all the wicks are off center and they tunnel badly without a foil collar. Guess I will stick with the big 3 wicks from now on

Ack! I asked the YC Outlet SA about that scent and he said he thinks it's one of the ones that disappeared because they couldn't get the right oil anymore On the hot plate today I melted a cube of AmbiEscents (newish clamshell line at Bed Bath & Beyond, like BH&G or Scentsationals) Lemongrass Ginger Tea. Like the scent a lot but it was pretty light. Just put YC Pink Sands in the tea light burner.
