Hi everyone! This morning I'm melting Front Porch " Pumpkin Marshmallow" Yummy!! Although it still reaches into the 80's here in Oregon it is cool enough in the mornings to feel like Fall. Have a fabulous day!

Happy Wednesday or "Hump" day everyone! I started the morning melting YC "Autumn Wreath" I love this tart! It is very soft and has that touch of Fall I am craving! It's been so hot here in Oregon since July I've only been really into melting clean and floral scents. So, this afternoon I'm melting Glade "Clean Linen" I like the crisp clean laundry like smell.

Good Morning to all!! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I am melting "Peony Petals" From Scentsy this morning. It is a super nice Floral scent. Not too light and not too strong. Plus the wax is PINK!! I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

Welcome to Portland!! We live about 15 min from down town. The donut shops are quite popular here and just as popular as Blue Star Donuts is Voodoo Donuts! They have two shops and sell out ssssooo fast. There is always a long line around the building!! Today I'm melting "Sugar" by Scentsy and "Vanilla Cookie Crunch" by Better Homes and Gardens. I must be on a bakery kick, talking about all these yummy donuts!! If your in Portland enjoy the Rain today!!

Starting the early morning off melting in two warmers from the "Spotted Hog" Fruttie Loops. Hits the spot for a bakery like scent. Enjoy your day!!

Good Monday morning to everyone! Hope all of you had fun watching the Super Bowl. This morning I'm melting YC White Sands. Nice scent but really soft scent throw. Wishing it was stronger. Had to mix it up a bit and melt a Scentsationals Fresh Air melt. Smells like Spring flowers. Have a terrific day!

Sweet&spiceygirl sorry I am just now reading this post 1-13-14 I have never been to Blue Star Donuts. Sorry!! I'm a type 1 diabetic and don't eat sugar so tend to stay away from super yummy places. I hear that Blue star donuts and Vodoo Donuts another place featured on both the Cooking Channel and Food Network are pretty awesome!

Happy Friday!! Good for you girls that school is out!! Time to unwind and do all the last minuet Christmas things. I almost didn't need to melt anything today. We've been baking Ginger Crinkle Cookies all morning. It's my husband's secret family recipe. They smelled amazing! Started the day melting in the kitchen "Snow Cake" from Closet Full of Wax. I just couldn't smell anything but play dough? My husband liked it but I didn't. Now melting "Vanilla Bean Noel" again Closet Full of Wax. This one is a winner!! YC "Marshmallow Fireside" in the living room. In one bedroom "Christmas Bliss" Thanks to my swap buddy. And in the hall bathroom "Eskimo Kiss" from Scentsy. I hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.

I've been melting FT Winter Candy Apple. I cut one of these tarts in half and use each piece in a warmer. It's been going strong for hours!!

Good Tuesday Morning! I started the day too early, but needles to say I am having a chance to try some tarts from my swap buddy. Melting "Christmas Bliss" by Ruby Rose Candles. It packs a punch and puts you in the holiday spirit. Refreshing and green with a hint or two of woodsy spice. A little goes a long way. Thank you swap buddy!!

Happy Holidays!! Congratulations on the thread!! My husband thought it would be cute to try Falala light a candle! Go figure he is in the holiday spirit too. Today I melted White Christmas from YC! Talk about super strong!! Mine did have that tree scent. Let me re-phrase overload tree scent. I also tried a new company called "Corner Stone Candles" I tried their tart "Reindeer Poop" It was kinda a pleasant holiday scent much like a wooded wonderland. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Today I am melting Pumpkin Marmalade by Front Porch in the kitchen. I normally don't like citrus scents but this one I love! In the living room 2 warmers have Buckle berry from Scentsy. I my bedroom I have violets and lilacs by scentsy. {my hubby loves this one!} That's why it's on! In my son's room Better homes and gardens Falling Leaves And in my daughters room Autumn Sunset by Scentsy

I think all the tree scents are somewhat similar. I really like Scentsy "Iced Pine". I have a warmer on a bookcase pretty close to where we usually put the tree and burn that smell through December. It is defiantly a pine smell with a hint of sweetness and a touch of mint. It really smells like a ripe Christmas tree. Here is the scent description: "As refreshing as a walk through newly fallen snow: green fir and pine, kissed by icy peppermint."

Happy November! This morning I am melting Scentsy "Autumn Sunset" I like it because it is a Fall scent all the way and two cubes is enough to scent my entire kitchen, dinning room, and living room!! Have a super duper great Friday Everyone

Yesterday on Labor Day I melted Fall Hayride from Glade and Chasmere Woods also from Glade. This lovely Tuesday morning I am melting from FR Winter Candy Apple. Just love the sweet appley spicey winter Fall/Winter scent it gives off. Such an up beat fragrance. Have a wonderful short week!

I too have often wondered the exact same thing. Here in Oregon where I live it is still pushing into the 90's. It really doesn't make you want any Fall smells. I actually went into YC a couple weeks ago to take a peek at the Fall smells. I asked the store manager why they already have so many when it's still Summer. She said all Fragrance companies are always a season ahead. So being in the store I couldn't leave empty handed. I picked up 3 tarts. Lakeside Sunset, Cozy Sweater, and Soft Blanket. I have melted half of each tart and let me tell you they really pack a punch! So half is plenty! They didn't have a Fall smell to them at all. More of a purfumey smell which I do like. Lakeside Sunset had some note into that sorta reminded me of suntan lotion. Anyway, I am on a wax ban till at least Mid Sept maybe early October till it cools down enough to enjoy the Fall scents. I figure there should still be something left out there and it will probably be marked down to make room for Christmas and holiday scents. Have a great day!

I'm reading what everyone is melting and it ALl sounds soooo good! I want to place an order with CVB but I'm not really sure it's a good idea to place an order with any vendor this time of the year. I did get some samples from Mia Bella and when the mail came all the oil was all over the place. It leaked right through the package. The melts had no smell at all. Maybe towards Fall I will place an order with some of the vendors you all are using. So far my very favorites are CFTKR and Front Porch.

Good morning! I am starting my day with YC Summer Scoop. Smells just like a strawberry sunday in here. Has anyone tried melting B&BW candles in there warmers? I bought a few of there votive size candles and put them in the freezer. Pulled them out and smacked them on my palm and popped it out. I cut the candle in half and removed the wick. I then placed it in my warmer and it works pretty well. Some scents are stronger than the other ones. Probably not nearly as strong as their tarts were but it works! I also tried this with YC votives and they work just as well. Don't work too hard today!
