I love seeing all the adorable avatars you guys are using along with your posts! I finally managed to get one downloaded after much trial and effort (my first ever.)

Where are you finding them? Do you have to subscribe to a service or pay for them?

Thanks!

If you use photobucket-its a great place to get them. You can just search for Christmas, lights, santa, etc. They even have separate categories and things to look for-set up for you.

Thanks, Cat. I did not realize we could search under Photobucket. Are all of theirs the correct size. I have freaked over this before because one of the ones I picked was just too darn big.

OOPS, looks like it didn't work. Do you have to save it from Photobucket first. Oh, well, back to the drawing board.

Don't upload it-just use the direct link. After you click on the pic-copy the direct link code and use that here too. You can also save the picture to your own album in photobucket to play around with sizing if necessary.
Does that help?

Let's see. First, I got an error and then I had to save it and make it smaller so....

WOOHOO!!! Thanks, Cat, looks like it worked....I have had avatar envy for a long time but never could get it to work.

Me, too. Thank you. Maybe I can play with the cutsey ones like yours and several others here later.
