There are lots of companies (both old and new) competing for candle dollars - who do you think belongs in the top 10 for best scented candles?

Great topic, Debra!

In no particular order...
Pure Integrity (only tried a couple so far but they were fabulous)
Holly Candle Shoppe (won one in a Candlefind contest and it was terrific)
Haley's Heavenly Scents (really love the two wick ones)
Gold Canyon (some wonderful scents, need to order)
Slatkin (love these, wicks can drown but usually don't if I leave them untrimmed)
A Cheerful Giver (under new ownership now though, so I don't know)
Yankee (certain scents are terrific and throw great too, others not so much)

Fun topic! [smilie=th_slider_hi5] For me (no particular order) it's:
B&BW's
Front Porch
Morenci
Crossroads
McCalls
Gold Canyon
Cheryl's

I've only had 1 candle from these, so 2 early to compare, but I also like:
Haley's Heavenly
Pure Integrity
House of Soy
Spotted Hog
Nest

I currently am using of the ones I like:

*Goose Creek Candles
*Village Candles
*BBW (White Barn and Slatkin)
*Candleberry (but I am impatient with the length of time to get a wax pool on these)
*Yankee ( although I am finding that the majority of the large candles are not throwing very well, but I do like the variety of scents offered)

What about UK candles, what are the best ones here. I haven't heard of half of these (jealous).

Love your choice. Fyi, there are numerous advantages of reveling on scented candles. And aside from what you've mentioned, Clean Sheets candleis one of my favorite. The scent is that of a freshly washed sheet. :skywriter:
