The Girl Collection was so much fun for us to work on. I love all the artwork on these candles, and the scent pairings really do “evoke” the classic songs that inspired them. We hope everyone loves them as much as we do – and finds a girl that fits their vibe!

The Girl Collection
The Girl Collection is an array of five different gorgeous candles, each one celebrating a specific “type” of girl. There’s the American Girl, Surfer Girl, Punk Rock Girl, Uptown Girl, and last, but not least, Just a Girl. They all come wrapped in delicate, colorful tissue paper tucked inside white gift boxes. The candle vessels are a gorgeous bubblegum pink (swoon!) with undyed, creamy coconut blended wax and a single cotton wick. The artwork on the candles is…well…a work of art. The different types of girls are beautifully captured and we consider collectible. They would look stunning on anyone’s mantel or kitchen countertop.

American Girl
This candle was all things good about bakery candles. It was warm, inviting, and smelled oh-so-delicious. This candle reminded us of the filling in a fresh slice of warm apple pie. We wanted to dip into the wax with a fork! The scent was strong enough to envelope our medium sized room with fragrance and kept us wanting more. So, so good!

Just A Girl
Just a Girl from The Girl Collection was a big hit at the office. This one was bright and zippy with a subtle creaminess to it. The energizing orange notes wafted in the air and gave us an uplifting vibe. Definitely one of our favorites in the bunch.

Punk Rock Girl
Punk Rock Girl was the most complex scent in the collection to our noses. It was a heavier scent with warm, spicy notes and a bit of woodsiness. It even leaned towards a more “masculine” type of scent, if you will. We could get the hints of palo santo…LOVE!…and the amber notes lingered long after the candle was snuffed out. Just beautiful!

Surfer Girl
Surf’s up! Surfer Girl reminded us of the sand and the beach, with some softer floral notes in the mix. We could almost smell the ocean air, complete with its unique saltiness. Simply fun and we would love to light this one up during the warmer months.

Uptown Girl
Ok. Yum. Uptown Girl was just yummy and delicious. It was bright, bubbly, and slightly sweet. This one is perfect for the girly girls out there. The scent was also one of the strongest in the bunch.
Overall Impression of The Girl Collection
The Girl Collection from Evoke Candle Company has us super excited. The candles are beautiful, the artwork is stunning, and the scents are simply amazing. There is enough variety in this collection for just about everyone to find something that would be their type of scent. Being the bakery lovers we are here at Candlefind, our favorite was American Girl followed by the very girly-girl Uptown Girl candle. If you like more “masculine” type scents, go for Just a Girl, and don’t sleep on Surfer Girl if watery, ozone type scents are your fave. We found the most complex fragrance to be Punk Rock Girl. All candles in this collection did a great job of fragrancing a medium sized room with scent and the burns were flawless. What’s more, the vessels are perfect to save and recycle/repurpose. We give The Girl Collection a huge thumbs up. Well done, Evoke. Well done.
