Knapp Essentials was started by Lauren Knapp's desire to create healthier candles using clean burning soy wax and pure essential oils. She and her husband Corey began making candles when Lauren was pregnant with their first child. As a candle lover herself, she understood the concerns surrounding synthetic fragrances and paraffin waxes, and aimed to create healthier candles that still smelled and looked great.

As Knapp Essentials has evolved, Corey and Lauren have added an upcycled collection using donated wine and beer bottles. This new take on candles creates beautiful and functional home decor while benefiting the environment.
