Brightwise Candles is a small business run by Kate Busse, established in Ohio and crafted in Northern California. Using high quality ingredients, we hand-pour with passion in small batches to give you the finest candles in both beauty and performance. Our hope is that you appreciate the care we put into each scented candle that we make.

Kate Busse is a biotech research scientist working on therapeutics for age-related diseases at a small startup called Juvena Therapeutics. Her days are spent at the lab or in meetings, but her nights and weekends are spent crafting new candles for your self care and home decor needs.
