Votive Candles
Votive candles are small candles with a single wick that are easily  interchangeable and fun to use. They come in varying heights but are usually anywhere from 1 to 3 inches high. They have a longer burning time than their other small candle counterpart, the tealight candle.

Most often votive candles are sold without a container, and they must be placed inside a votive holder for use. Some votives come already in a glass container, and you can start using them immediately as is. You will often find the ready-to-use variety in luxury brands that sell votives.

Votives are a wonderful way to add ambiance to your room or to add to a candlescape. You can light a few of them to create a beautiful, peaceful glow. If you are looking for fragrance, you will most likely need several to get a good scent throw due to their smaller size. However, there are some companies that make highly fragrant ones that can be used in smaller spaces for scent. We love using these little candles as large wax melts, to be able to sample fragrances from a variety of companies that offer them.
