Scents Wholesome For Your Space
I love candles. So I decided to make them. What a surprise to find out that this endeavor would involve so much science. A subject which while in school, I found to be useless and easily yawn invoking.
I wanted to make something GOOD! And with the help of my amazing husband, I believe that we have.
Our candles are poured by hand in small batches so we can ensure high quality, artisan craftsmanship. They are made with 100% soy wax and all natural beeswax. This means that they are not only environmentally friendly, but a healthy alternative to burning candles which are made from paraffin (a petroleum product).
We custom blend all of our delicious scents using phthalate free oils. Our candles are made with wooden wicks which are organic & non toxic and come from FSC certified mills. AND they produce a smooth crackling sound while burning.
So, what is Libellule? It’s French for dragonfly. Pronounced lee-bay-lool. I am drawn to them (even though all insects tend to send me shrieking and running.) Their symbolism and meaning are greatly significant to me. A dragonfly’s short life span reminds us to live each day in the moment and to the fullest. May we all be a little like the dragonfly.
