    About Camelia’s Candles

Camelia’s Candles: Camelia’s Candles started out as a simple hobbyist making molds until her hobby turned into a passion for keeping candle wax out of the landfills. In partnership with Value Village and her customers Camelia has saved over 80 ton of wax from going into the landfills in the pacific northwest. Alongside recycling and creating beautiful candles Camelia also works with places like the Boys & Girls Club of Lebanon and the Department of Human Resources TANF program to give teens and adults alike a chance to earn work experience.

    Note From Candlefind:
This is a different kind of candle company, but a useful one for avid candle lovers. If you have any broken, warped, or unused candles, you can send them to Camelia’s to have them recycled into bulk wax for further candle creation! You can even bring in children’s crayons for recycling. Camelia’s efforts have saved over 80 tons of wax from hitting the landfills!
If you do bring in broken/unused candles, you will get a $20 gift certificate to use in the shop towards one of the ready-made candles. If you live in the local area, you can schedule a drop off or pick up.

When shopping the online site, there are a few candles to choose from, many of them novelty candles. Most can be made with your choice of beeswax, paraffin, soy, or recycled wax. They make a super realistic looking torso candle, too.

We always celebrate companies that give back, and Camelia’s Candles is one of those companies. Aside from their noteworthy recycling efforts, they also work with local agencies to provide jobs and skills.
