What did my candle smell like?
It’s so hot where I live right now, I was craving something sweet and fresh to review. What better scent than a classic – 
Cucumber Melon. It’s an oldie but goodie and a scent I love to burn every summer…. it’s timeless and universally loved, even my picky hubby likes it. Shorties Candles version is awesome… it’s sweet, tart, delicious and fresh.

“Dive into this clean blend of ripe honeydew melon and freshly sliced cucumbers. This popular fragrance has been reborn stronger than ever! Try one today.”
Do you love Bath & Body Works real McCoy? This one is about as close as you can get and I’ve tried a nice variety. It’s mouthwatering honeydew with lots of sugar and teeny hints of cucumber… not the other way around like many versions can be. This version (for me) is perfect!! Sweet and succulent honeydew that is sweet and tart at the same time. LOVE!!!!!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 4 in a large room. A 6/7 in a medium sized room. Not as strong as I hoped but I still enjoyed it in a small room.
How did my candle burn?
This candle did struggle a bit to reach full melt pools so there were traces of wax along the glass wall at the very end. Not much but enough that I noticed it. I’m pretty sure it was the wick which burned pretty low from beginning to end. Meaning… the wick never burned bright and I never once had to trim it. Want to note… I’ve never had issues with any Shorties Candles I’ve tried in the past so I’m thinking this was a fluke and not the norm. It did burn clean, no soot.
Closing to my review:
I very much enjoyed this candle and would purchase it again in a heartbeat. It’s a classic cucumber melon and very similar to Bath & Body Works version which has always been my favorite. I did have some burning issues as stated above but I’ve tried enough candles
from this company to know that’s not the norm. I do plan on purchasing this fragrance again so will amend this review when I do.
Shorties Candles offers a nice variety of products and have sales often so definitely check them out.

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of this scent and shorties has a great version just like you said. It’s fresh and fruity and perfect during the summer. Since you can’t buy this in a candle at BBW ‘s, we have to find alternatives.
