Intro To My Wax Melt Review
Anyone who follows this blog knows that Dessa’s Homespun Scents is one of our most favorite places to shop. The quality is top-notch, the service spectacular, and the scent blends? Out of 
this world good! Enter this cozy scented melt Cold Barn Mornings. The name alone intrigued me!
First Impressions of My Wax Melt
This wax melt was in an individual, 2 ounce tart cup. The color was a rusty reddish brown, fitting for the scent type. I took a cold sniff & I felt all warm and cozy inside. I smelled what I thought to be some fresh cut grass and some cedar notes. It was comforting and cozy – it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

I melted the entire 2 ounce wax melt in a 24W hot plate melter. It did not take long for me to start smelling the sweet cedar notes and what seemed to be a little spice. The fresh cut grass scent kicked in. It was green and fresh and blended nicely with the cedar/spice mix. I didn’t see any spices listed in the scent description, but I declare its what this nose was smelling! In any case, it was divine. Cozy, comforting, and divine.
How Did My Wax Melt Perform?
This was another great wax melt from Dessa’s. The scent itself was fairly strong and I could smell it all throughout the open living space it was in. It lasted for several hours before I decided to change it out. Perfection!
Closing To My Review
This is a type of scent I have to be in the mood for, but it’s definitely a good one. It made me want to curl up by the fire with a good book. In fact, that’s just what I did! I have yet to find a scent from Dessa’s that disappoints. Chalk this one up as another winner!
