Introduction to my Country Chunkie Review:
Country Chunkie Candles is an amazing internet company run by two friendly and professional ladies, Kim and Gloria. I had purchased from this company in the past and when given the opportunity to review them, I did the happy “Chunkie” Melt dance because I just love these melts!
Country Chunkie’s web site is visually appealing and easy to navigate. It’s laid out very clearly so it’s easy to browse and search through products. They currently offer 48 scents right now and are adding more all the time. You may think the scent list isn’t impressive, but wait until you take a peek at what they have to offer! There are some really unique and creative scents on that list. I can almost guarantee there’s something you haven’t tried before.
I was sent an assortment of Lil Chunkies, and I picked four I thought you’d all like to know about… Cowgirl Undies, Mountain Home, Creme Brulee and Misty Nights.
What do my Lil Chunkie Melts Look Like?
Country Chunkie offers several syle tarts to choose from. The melts I reviewed were the Lil Chunkie Melts. They’re in round plastic containers with lids. The wax is white with different colored chunks depending on what scent you have. Cowgirl Undies, Misty Nights and Mountain Home had blue chunks, Creme Brulee has brown. These melts are a whopping 1.75 ounces each, they are big!.
How Did My Melts from Country Chunkie Candles Smell?
Scent description:
If there was an “official” Christmas fruit scent, this would be it. It’s sweet, spicy and balsam-y, another one that I just flipped over. This is such a welcoming scent, very cozy and warm. This one filled my room with fragrance before it was even fully melted.
Cowgirl Undies:
Scent description from Country Chunkie’s website:
“This is our own creation for the girls who love leather, but want a sweeter note added in. Leather with strong notes of vanilla. A must try!”
I admit, I was super curious about this scent. I like leather, but wasn’t so sure about adding in a vanilla note. Turns out it’s fantastic! This is so different, it’s a mellow, sweet leather. This is a good thrower too, and fills a room.
Mountain Home:
Scent description from Country Chunkie’s website:
“A wintery combination of apples, oak, balsam and fir. With a hint of cinnamon and cloves.”
Oh my, this scent is so right up my alley. It’s earthy, it’s spicy plus a little sweet. I fell in love right away. This is the perfect curl up at the fireplace with a book scent and nice and cozy for winter. Great thrower, fills my entire downstairs with scent.
Creme Brulee:
Scent description:
“This is our own blend. Creamy vanilla custard pudding, smothered in buttery caramel sauce!”
I like Creme Brulee scents but have never been in love with one until now. This is what I like to call Creme Brulee Plus! It has a little something extra that makes it somehow richer and deeper than your usual Creme Brulee. It’s sweet and smooth and fills a room easily.
Closing Remarks on my Country Chunkie Melts Review:
To sum it up, I love this place! Kim and Gloria are very easy to deal with and go out of their way to satisfy their customers. Their prices are fair, shipping is reasonable and the melts are top notch. This is a quality operation, and I will buy again with no hesitation.
