First Impressions of My Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla Candle
Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla from White Barn smelled like the creamiest vanilla with hints of fresh cinnamon. Just based off cold sniff, I knew I was going to enjoy this one.
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
Fresh ground cinnamon, sugar crystals, Tahitian vanilla bean.
I can honestly say this is by far one of the most authentic cinnamon vanilla’s I have ever smelled. And it was the vanilla that ultimately made this scent. YUM!! It was a perfect and sugary vanilla which tells me the sugar crystals in the scent description play a good size role. My nose detected creamy vanilla, lots of sweet sugar with hints of fresh cinnamon. It was perfect. PERFECT!!
Time to light my candle!
I decided on a large room to burn this candle in so in my bedroom it went. Within a few hours… the fragrance was so light, I ended up moving it to my
small powder room and that’s where it stayed till the very end. I wanted maximum scent throw and definitely achieved that in a smaller room. The aroma…. LOVED!! The vanilla was intoxicating and so sweet and creamy, I couldn’t get enough of it. The spice was very subtle. To me, this scent was a creamy vanilla loaded with sugar with teeny hints of cinnamon. I really loved it, I just wish the strength would have been stronger.
How Did My Candle Perform?
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6/7 in a very small room, that’s how lightly scented it was. So light, I wouldn’t even attempt burning this candle in anything larger.
How Did My Candle Burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.
Closing To My Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla Candle Review
I loved Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla. A lot!! I just wish the fragrance would have been stronger. That was the only downside to this candle. Vanilla scents do tend to be on the lighter side in many cases so I’m not going to ding them too much for that. But I would be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t disappointed. I wanted room saturation strong with this one and I didn’t get that. ((insert sad face))
Oh well…. I think I will purchase this candle again just to see if I get the same result. And should you come across Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla at your local Bath & Body Works store, go smell it. If you’re a vanilla lover like me, you may fall in love just like I did.
