Introduction to My Review of Cheryl’s Candles & gifts
Cheryl’s Candles is a country web store selling all kinds of things including candles and melts. There are so many choices going on here, your head will spin! This is a site where you want to make sure you dedicate some time to so you can “see” everything. There are 200 fragrances on the A-B-C page ALONE!!!!! When I e-mailed Cheryl to ask how many fragrances she had (because I REALLY didn’t want to count them all!) here was her reply:
“I have at the moment 745 scents and still ordering!”If you’ve ever wanted to try a scent that’s hard to find, it’s probably in stock at Cheryl’s, and if by some chance it isn’t, I’m sure she knows where to find it! Cheryl’s Candles offers candles in tins and glass containers, pillars, beverage containers, votives, tapers, pies, muffins, tealights, floating candles, cakes, cinnamon rolls, tarts……..get the picture yet?! You can almost surely find what you are looking for here!
What do my candles look like?
Buttery Gingerbread was a double wicked 16 ounce holiday container with brown wax. Fizzy Pop, a 10 oz. single wicked Wexford Jar (see picture to the left), which is a square jar with a pretty quilted effect. The wax was a peachy-orange.
What Did My Candles from Cheryl’s Candles & Gifts Smell Like?
Buttery Gingerbread:
Here’s the scent description off Cheryl’s website:
“The buttery scent with Gingerbread is strong, has a great throw and is one of the most awesome fragrances. It is definitely a must try if you like Gingerbread!”
I lit this candle in my bedroom not expecting the strength to be strong. This one is a “blow the doors off” scent! I smelled spice, but no real bakery note like I’m used to in a gingerbread scent. I didn’t get a butter note either, but that might just be my nose. I smelled a very spicy fragrance. There was cinnamon for sure, maybe a little nutmeg too. I didn’t get any clove though. It was so strong I had to move it into a larger room because it was a little too much for the enclosed space of my bedroom. Once I moved it to my living area, the strength was just right.
Fizzy Pop:
Scent description:
“What a fun scent! Similar to lemon-lime soda.”
I lit this candle in my office since it was a smaller size, and again, I had to move it to a bigger room. Cheryl’s Candles makes some powerful candles!
This is a scent I loved and was so happy to get. It doesn’t remind me of lemon lime soda but that may be because I don’t drink lemon lime soda. I smell a fun, fruity, citrus-y scent that is bright and makes me happy. It’s been great burning this one while it’s snowing outside, it’s like blowing a raspberry to the weather creating Spring inside my house! It’s wild, but you can smell the carbonation in this scent.
If you like fruity scents, this is a great one to try.
Closing to my review:
With so many choices there is no way you won’t find something you want to try at Cheryl’s Candles. She has a little bit of everything! My candles burned well and fragranced my house, everything you want out of a candle. Her prices are fair too, I wouldn’t hesitate to try this company!

I just received the honeydew candle from cheryls! I love it! The throw of scent is quite small actually, but it burns evenly, and no soot! 4 stars from me!
