Intro To My Wax Melt Review
It’s time for another CFOW wax melt review! I ordered a wax melt sampler from Closet Full of Wax several months ago, and I am still working off that one order! She packs that sampler box FULL of wax melts, so I’ve had a never-ending supply of melts to test. Next up is the pretty wax melt Gaia.
First Impressions of My Wax Melt
I’m new to the whole CFOW scene, so I’m not sure of the meaning behind the name Gaia. I know Gaia in Greek mythology as the Mother Earth goddess, so I’m assuming that is the reference here, as well. It really didn’t matter to me because this wax melt was so stinking cute! It was shaped like a cute wrapped individual piece of candy in the prettiest yellow. The scent name and description were on the package (these sample melts were individually packaged). I also found the scent description on the website:

Interesting combo! My cold sniff was predominated by apple mango tango, which tends to be a powerful scent as is. It was tamed by this rich, creamy sweetness that had to be the raspberry cream.
I used this wax melt in my 24W hot plate melter and watched it start to pool out almost instantaneously. That’s about how long it took to start getting some scent from this little gem, too! The freshness of apple mango tango is what I got first – bursting with bright, citrus/appley goodness. I love, love, love this fragrance all by itself. Once it was fully warmed, though, the scent changed and became softer and more creamy. I couldn’t really detect raspberry, but I could tell there was a creaminess added to the scent that was divine. I thought this one started out really strong and then faded into a more moderately strong scent once the raspberry cream really kicked in.
How Did My Wax Melt Perform?
This little gem packed a punch and lasted a good, long time. When it first started out, I would call it really strong then it settled into the more moderately strong range. The scent throw itself was really good, as I could smell it all in the open living area and it hit me each time I walked into the area.
Closing To My Wax Melt Review
That concludes another CFOW wax melt review, but I’ve got several more planned in the upcoming weeks. I’m determined to make my way through the sampler so I can start my own order strategic planning. This wax melt was a hit in this household and I would order this again for sure. If you haven’t tried this company, I suggest hitting up their sampler packs, because they are a great deal & you get to try SO many scents!
