Intro To My Wax Melt Review
Closet Full of Wax is a new-to-me company that sells loads of wax melts and some bath/body products. The scent list is HUGE and includes several custom blended scents. They have a huge following, including on Facebook, so I thought it high time I tried them out. I decided to purchase a sampler from them to get a good idea of what they had to offer. Shipping was super fast and I had a TON of wax samples to try. I was already loving on this company!
First Impressions of My Wax Melt
There was no rhyme or reason to the first melt I wanted to try – there were so many choices! My hand landed on Card Soldiers, so it was up first. I didn’t see a scent description on site, but luckily, there was a description right on the packaging – score!
Strawberry Jam, Vanilla Sugared, Coconut Shortbread
OK – I’m in! The cold sniff was mostly strawberry (realistic, green strawberry) and some coconut at the end whiff. It smelled pretty good and had a really good cold throw – I was hopeful!
How Did My Wax Melt Perform?
I decided to use my 24W bulb melter for this wax melt. harsh. I put in the cutesy shape and went about my business for the day. It was not long before I started smelling this wax melt in my large open living space. I smelled lots of shortbread once it started melting and it was YUM! Buttery and thick and delicious. The strawberry was present but much less prominent. It was more of a fresh, green strawberry scent as opposed to the sticky sweet strawberry candy scents. The coconut was the kicker – I noticed it wafting in & out at different times during the melt. Loved it, because it made the scent just a little bit different all throughout the melt – like magic!
As far as the strength, I would say moderately strong and it had a great scent throw. I smelled it all throughout the main area where it was melting and on down the hallways.
The melt lasted a long time, too. I didn’t weigh this one (yes, I have a scale just for wax…don’t judge), but it was a pretty small amount of wax to last as long as it did. I had it going for 2 solid days before I switched it up.
Closing To My Wax Melt Review
Scent strength I would rate as 4/5 with a 5/5 scent throw. Performance was a solid 5/5 since it lasted so long. This is definitely a bakery scent with some added strawberry/coconut goodness. If you like bakery scents, you would probably like this one. I don’t see it on the scent list, but it’s definitely one I would reorder…in bulk!
