Introduction to my Caramel Pumpkin Swirl candle review:
Okay, so I’m pretty late to the party getting this candle reviewed but hey… better late than never. I don’t know what took me so long either because this candle smells INCREDIBLE!!!! I know I sound like a broken record but I am so impressed with Bath & Body Works bakery scents… they are beyond authentic and so yummy and edible. I know we all come across “so so” candles every once in awhile but when you find a good one, oh my goodness is this one SO FREAKING good!!
Caramel Pumpkin Swirl is a limited edition from Bath & Body Works “Pumpkin Café” line and it truly is beyond delicious! You want to eat it with a tall glass of milk. For real!
What did my candle look like?
I purchased the large 3 wick candle. The label on the candle had my mouth watering. It showed a delicious cake with many layers of pumpkin cake, vanilla frosting or cream (can’t tell which.) The top layer was frosting covered in pecans and all oozing with caramel dripping down the sides of the cake. Oh my gosh!! YUMMY!!!!!
What did my candle smell like?
The label alone had me but once I popped off the lid to smell the wax… heaven!! This candle smells like bakery
heaven!! You seriously want to just eat it!!
Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:
“Enjoy a marvelous mixture of two of the fall’s most delicious scents, as sweet, smooth caramel swirls fresh pumpkin.”
That doesn’t sound right to me but it’s correct, I copied it word for word off the label. I personally think it should have read:
“Warm pumpkin cake lathered in layers of rich butter cream frosting then topped with swirls of buttery caramel and sweet sugary glazed walnuts.”
The above is exactly what this candle smelled like… at least to me anyway. It was cakey, sweet, rich and mouthwatering!! I lit my candle in a big bedroom and it didn’t take long to start noticing the fragrance. The aroma… a mouthwatering pumpkin cake with the perfect touch of sweet caramel. This is definitely a candle I’ll be purchasing again. I loved it!!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this candle a 7. It wasn’t super strong but still a room filler. I was happy with the overall strength which was a steady medium.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned perfect! No wick issues, no wasted wax or soot. A+.
Closing to my review:
I thoroughly enjoyed this candle from beginning to end and will for sure purchase it again when it comes back in the fall. For sure! It had every element I love in a bakery scent and it’s one you’ll want to eat. Out of all the pumpkin fragrances I burned this winter, this was by far my favorite so far. It’s THAT good!! It was a warm pumpkin cake with the perfect blend of butter cream frosting and rich caramel. Highly recommend this one to all bakery lovers out there!
