Lemon Chiffon Wax Melts – ScentSationals Melt Review
by Christina Rylan
Scent: Lemon Chiffon
Type: 2.5oz Clamshell Melts
I purchased these melts directly from ScentSationals website but I do believe if you’re lucky… you may find this scent at your local Walmart. I’ve seen this scent there.
If you regularly read my reviews, you know my favorite scent EVER is lemon. I love all variations… sweet, tart, bakery, creamy, fresh… to my nose, it’s all good. So, anytime I see a lemon scent from a company big or small, I have to smell it and chances are, I’ll probably buy it. When I saw Lemon Chiffon from ScentSationals, I bought a half a dozen melts without even smelling it. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever smelled a Lemon Chiffon I haven’t liked. In my experience, Lemon Chiffon is a whipped and creamy sweet lemon and yummy delicious!
First sniff… I liked it a lot… it was exactly as I imagined… a sweet and creamy whipped sugary lemon. LOVED!!!!!! No regrets buying as many as I did. My only hope was it stayed true once melting.
Time to find out!
I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. It’s a big room and since I like room saturation strong… two melters are needed. Here is the scent description from ScentSationals website:
“Tart, sweet and heavenly”
I would say once melting, it took between 5 or 10 minutes to really start noticing the fragrance. It smelled really good… sweet and lemony delicious but it smelled like something I’ve tried before. After a few hours, it finally dawned on me… this scent smells exactly like Fruit Loops Cereal and very similar to their Orange Cream Cupcake melt we’ve reviewed. I almost want to say they’re identical so maybe they’re blending both of these scents with the same lemon…. I don’t know.
Final verdict… I still liked it and would buy it again. If you love the smell of Fruit Loops… you’ll like this one.
