What did my Peacharine candle smell like?
Peacharine – what a cute name! – – I love Bluewick candles… there is something about their fragrances that always puts a smile on my face, especially their sweet and fruity scents, and this company sure knows how to produce them. Peacharine I’m happy to say did not disappoint.
Here is the brief scent description for Peacharine I pulled from Bluewick’s website:
Georgia Peach, Mandarin Orange & Soft Nectars.
First impression, I smelled sweet peaches and mandarin right off the bat with mandarin being the prominent note I detected the most. It smelled sweet, fresh and a perfect scent to brighten your home. My favorite part, the overall fragrance wasn’t too zesty like many citrus scents can become. Based off cold sniff, I loved it already.
Time to find out how it performs!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out and it performed pretty well although a little light. Once lit, it took a good 20 minutes to really start noticing the fragrance and once I did, I smelled sweet and sugary peaches with hints of citrus and something else I’m guessing had to be the soft nectar. It smelled creamy, like a sweet and sugary vanilla. Whatever it was, I loved it and soon realized not one element dominated over the other. Peaches, mandarin and nectar were all blended equally. It was refreshing and a perfect balance of sweet and fresh. I loved it!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 5 in a really large room so my suggestion would be sticking to a medium to small room to really maximize the fragrance. That’s what I ended up doing. I moved the candle to a much smaller room and oh my goodness, the fragrance saturated the room from then on out and it was heaven.
This candle burned pretty well. It did take a while to reach full melt pool with each lighting but that’s pretty normal with this brand. It did burn clean with no soot from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
I loved Peacharine and would absolutely purchase it again. If you love fruity scents and on the sweeter side, I highly recommend this one. Peacharine was a perfect balance of peaches, nectar and refreshing citrus. I loved it.
I consider Bluewick a luxury brand so they are expensive but if you watch for one of their amazing sales, you can get some pretty great deals. I purchased this candle during one of their 60% off sales. Can’t get any better than that!!
Happy candle hunting!
