Intro To My Wax Melt Review
I had scented wax overload on a number of levels these past few years. As I’ve shaken off the cobwebs, I’ve noticed a number of new-to-me companies that have piqued my interest. Mary Melts. She has a loyal Facebook following and some pretty cool looking wax melts. I was excited when I finally got around to placing a small order to see what all the hype was about. I got a handful of melts, but this cutie patootie was the first one to go into my melter – Blueberry Cobbler. Yum!
First Impressions of My Wax Melt
This wax melt was in one of her cute donut shapes. Pretty pastel blue with white, drizzled “icing.” I had the scent name on a label on the outside but no scent description. I took a good whiff and…ahhhh! This smelled just. like. blueberry cobbler!!! I couldn’t believe I was getting such a good crust scent on cold sniff!
I’ve smelled (and eaten) more blueberry cobbler than I care to admit to in my life, so believe me when I say…this was one realistic cold smell. I wanted to take a bite!
How Did My Wax Melt Perform?
I used the entire donut in my 24W bulb melter in a large, open living space. It did not take long before this wax melt starting putting out scent. It smelled soooo good! Like juicy, sugared blueberries rolled up in a buttery, doughy pie crust. Delicious! It had my mouth watering the entire time.
I find blueberry scents to be pretty strong and this was no exception. There was also a really good scent throw – I smelled this wax melt going all throughout the house. I had someone stop by who thought I was baking. NOT!
I left this melt going all day and on into the next. It lasted a good, long time without missing a beat. I finally did change it out for something else…just because I wanted to try something new. I think this one could have kept going non-stop for another day or two.
Closing To My Wax Melt Review
I was thoroughly impressed with my first wax melt from Mary Melts. I have a few more to sample and I plan on coming back for more. I get just a ‘wee’ bit obsessive when I find a place I like, so I hope she’s ready for another avid fan. If you like bakery scents and blueberry in particular, this is a great one to try. It’s one I plan on ordering again!
