What did my candle smell like?
I was organizing one of my candle closets when I found a really old style White Barn candle in the scent Black Raspberry Vanilla. When I popped off the lid, it smelled just as strong as the day I purchased it. Love that about this brand!!

This really is one of my favorite fragrances from Bath & Body Works. They also make it in bath & body and it really is a luscious and true raspberry scent with the perfect touch of vanilla and cream. This candle was no exception. It smelled like heaven!!
Time to light my candle!
I started big and lit this candle in my master bedroom to test out. White Barn fragrances are generally strong room fillers for me so why not? Once lit, it look a good hour to reach a full melt pool and the aroma….. YUM!! Sweet and creamy raspberry with swirls of vanilla. Very creamy and realistic. Loved!!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 4 in a large room. 7 in a medium size room and 8 and above in smaller rooms. This was definitely a more subtle aroma.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned great. Super slow at times with a bit of tunneling at the widest part of the ball shaped jar but with a little help, it did eventually right itself for a clean and even burn.
Closing to my review:
I love Black Raspberry Vanilla and am sad it’s not available anymore… at least for now. I do see it released every so often so when it is in their large 3 wick candles, I’ll definitely be purchasing more. I just hope the large 3 wick version gives a better scent throw.
If you love sweet Raspberry scents, this is a must try. It’s a perfect, sweet and creamy raspberry. This fragrance is also available in Bath & Body 
Works lotions, body washes and sprays and it’s yummy on your skin as well.

This candle would have rated much higher had the strength and burn performance been better. Regardless, I still loved this scent.
