What did my candle smell like?
I purchased Beautiful Day on a whim considering this was clearly a floral fragrance. I can handle lighter florals but not really heavy and sweet ones so I was hoping with apple in the mix, this would fall under that category. First impression… my nose definitely smelled floral with an added fresh element I was glad to note. Any fruity elements blended with floral tends to tone it down and I usually end up liking it.

Bring a fragrance as beautiful as the perfect spring day into your home with notes of sun-kissed apple, wild daises and pink peonies.
Yep… that’s exactly what I smelled. Sun kissed apples, soft daisies and sweet peonies. The overall scent smelled sweet and floral’y but still fresh. Will be interesting to smell the fragrance once it’s burning.
Time to find out!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom (my favorite room to review Bath & Body Works candles in) and came back 15 minutes later to the fresh aroma of sweet flowers and apples. It was really lovely and not at all what I expected… in a good way. Better yet… my husband never once commented on the fragrance which tells me it wasn’t too heavy or he would have definitely said something.
Yep, Beautiful Day is a keeper. Every time I walked into my bedroom, the aroma of sweet peonies and apples filled the air. Very lovely!!
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle an 9 in a large room. 10 and higher in a medium and smaller rooms. Loved the strength.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
Beautiful Day was a lovely candle perfect for spring and summer. It’s a floral scent but not heavy or offensive. I thought it was really pretty, fresh and a scent that brightens up a room. If you are like me and not a fan of floral but are thinking of venturing into that realm… this would be a good choice to try.
I’m pretty sure this is a seasonal scent so if you don’t see it listed on Bath & Body Works websites or in stores, I would check back in the spring.
