First Impression of White Caramel Cold Brew:
The name alone, White Caramel Cold Brew, sounded interesting and a scent I couldn’t help being curious about. I at first thought it was an actual beer scent (cringe) until I smelled it. Once I did… YUM!! The wax literally smelled good enough to eat. My favorite kind of bakery candle.
Here is the scent description for White Caramel Cold Brew:
Cold Brew Coffee, Vanilla Sweet Cream, Warm Caramel Drizzle.
They had me at Vanilla Sweet Cream and honestly, that’s what the wax smelled like to me. Sweet cream with teeny hints of caramel and lots and lots of sugar which I’m guessing was the caramel. It smelled beyond scrumptious!!
Time to light my candle!
I decided to go bold and light my White Caramel Cold Brew candle in my master bedroom and realized soon after that it wasn’t going to work. Normally Bath & Body Works candles fragrance large rooms pretty easily but this one was a no-go. After a good hour of burning, I could barely smell the aroma and knew it was time to move it to a much smaller room. Once I did… much better! I could actually smell the fragrance and it was pretty yummy. The coffee notes really came to life too. Not as strong as I hoped but definitely there. My entire powder room smelled like a sugary vanilla cream with hints of coffee and caramel – in that order.
Strength. I was bummed about the strength of this candle. I would rate White Caramel Cold Brew a 1 out of 10 in a really large room. 3 in a medium and 5 (if that) in a small room. This was not a very strong fragrance for me so if you give this candle a try and have better luck, good for you!
How did my White Caramel Cold Brew candle burn?
This candle burned great. No wick issues. Clean burning from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
White Caramel Cold Brew was a delicious scent but keeping it real, it was way too light to really enjoy in my opinion. I had to burn this candle in the tiniest of powder rooms and even then, the scent wasn’t that strong. Maybe it was the vanilla that kept it light? I don’t know. All I can say is, this will not be a repurchase for me. Sad because the fragrance was quite delicious.
Have you tried White Caramel Cold Brew? What did you think? Same experience as me or did you have better luck? I hope so.
Don’t see this candle on Bath & Body Works website? Try one of their stores which tends to carry all their current fragrances vs online.
Happy candle hunting!
